I don't own each one of it but I think both have difference to one another. The iPad has a lot of features. It's like between a laptop and an iPhone. But an iTouch feels like between an iPhone an an iPod.

The obvious difference between each of them is of course the price. I was thinking of buying an iPad, but now I think I should buy the fourth generation ipod touch. Well at the moment I have an iPod touch 3rd generation 16 gb.

Ipad is accually replacing your laptop, you cannot plug it in your jeans. But ipod touch can be carried everywhere.I use ipad back home&ipod touch outside, especially on the bus.

Well, the most obvious difference is the size between the two. But the iPad has better sound quality, and when I say better, it has a great sound quality. SOme models support 3G connection as well, which is a big plus if you use the Kindle app. Speaking apps, iPad gets some features that ipod touch users don't have. But even with these advantages, the ipod touch is not far from it, feature-wise. It has the same functionalities, its just that the iPad gets a few tweaks. I am using an iPod touch, and a friend has an iPad, and we get to compare them.
