What would be your 3 wishes if you found a genie in a magic lamp?

Some or most people are fond of daydreaming or fantasizing. I, myself, is a self-confessed daydreamer. It somehow gives me full control over my life even for just a while, even if it's unreal. Growing up, I usually imagine myself having the things I want or how I want my life to be. Sometimes I even dream of being with the person I like. Sometimes I also imagine myself in certain situations like those I've watched on tv or those I've read. I'm pretty sure most people have watched "Aladdin". It's one of the most popular children tales of all time. I have imagined myself finding a magic lamp with a genie who grants three wishes. My three wishes back then when I was a kid was, the biggest and most beautiful doll house in the world, my own room full of sweets and desserts, and becoming a princess. I usually giggle when I remember those days in my childhood. Now, my three wishes would be different. I'd wish for wealth so that me and my family could do whatever we want to do together and also help our relatives and other people in need. My next wish would be world peace, cliche as it may be, but I'd really want to live in a peaceful world and see people unite. People that work together or as one can move mountains. We can make our world a much better place for us to live in. Guess what my third wish would be? Hehe. I'm pretty sure you'll guess it right. How about you guys, what were your wishes when you were still a kid? What would be your three wishes now if you found a genie in a magic lamp? =)

Nothing wrong in daydreaming, we're all sometimes need to feel like kids. To answer your questions, I got a final answer to it. Probably my three wishes would be: wealth-of course, we all need that for our better living, then next would be cure to severe illnesses of our family or good health for all, and I would reserve the last for my personal, and that is wit or beauty
. Well nothing to loose if we try..hmmm kids mentality sometimes is in need in this world full of hardships and struggles.

Hi SimpleBB. I agree that we also should not forget about ourselves at times. It's not being selfish, of course we also have the right to be happy or get what we want. Yup, it's also good if we sometimes forget about life's hardships and just have fun. =)

Its a tricky question. Two of the wishes will be entirely about me. I can't be selfish to one wish would be something about global issue. :D Talking about two wishes about me, one would be me being billionaire and another visiting other planet where life exists. :D

When I was a kid my three wishes were that I could grow up faster, have a lot of candy and have fun. My three wishes now would be that I wish I could have my two babies back with me I miss them so much. my second wish would be that I wish my dad was still alive because things in my life would be way different in a good way. My third wish would be never to have to pay another bill. I really wish there could be a genie in a bottle for wishes that would so awesome.

Well, hi there. I also am a day dreamer and have really strong imaginations. If there was a genie, I wish of wealth, ageless, immortality. Yes, it sounds silly but its all I always wanted. I wanted to discover more, to have more friends and to travel the world. I do not want to be famous though, I just want to have a life like each and every kind of people have experienced. I want to be a blessing to others also. It my happiness to make people happy.

For me I only need one wish and that would be turn back time. Because my whole life I've been living in regrets in the expense of hurting others and doing a lot of mistakes and failures in life. If I could turn back time I am able to correct myself and the mistakes and failures in my life. That's the only wish I wanted to be granted I know it's impossible but I keep on praying to God that someday the past will stop haunting me.

Hi. I know most of us have regrets at some point in our lives. I also would want a chance to turn back time. I've also made some wrong decisions. Anyway, back in reality, I'll just share this quote I usually read whenever I feel down about my mistakes. I hope it'll also make you feel better about it, "When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long. Take the reason of the thing into your mind and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed, The future is yet in your power". =)

My first wish would be for the world that there is a logical explantation for all phenomenon. Second wish is that everything in the universe is consistent. Third wish is for reality to exist without magic.

To be rich..for my family to be healthy and to be able to travel through time. Not all of it's selfish though. I would donate to others and help others every day and be happy doing it. Try to change the world little by little. I think that would cover it.
Now when I was little I would of wanted to fly...and I am not sure about the other two.

I like to answer it like a beauty queen. If ever given a chance to find a lamp and make three wishes I will wish for world peace,better economy and everlasting happiness. Thank you.
and as my own self I will wish for power to health for me and my love ones, wealth so that I can buy all the things that I want and need and donate some to our church and lastly I will wish to make earth clean again.

the great love of my life lives a thousand miles away from free, so the first first is i can live closer to him. not a lot of people find true love like what we have that it's really disheartening that we can't be closer together geographically.
second wish is to graduate with great academic distinction. this wish is not really for me but for my family. hitting two birds with one stone, making myself happy and at the same time making my parents really proud. this makes this wish worth a lot.
third wish is economic stability for all nations. i'm so tempted to write "world peace" here but that is so huge a concept. rather i'd want the nations to have a stable economy wherein people don't have to commit crimes just to get money... no crimes = peaceful world. wishing for economic stability rather than world peace is more concrete.
