He is not the future but he is already England current star. If Capello know how to utilise Wilshere, Wilshere will rock the world of football and become the key man in England squad. Maybe he can displace Lampard out of the squad. Gerrard need to play because Gerrard is the only person in England team can get a result for England by his own like he always do to Liverpool. Wilshere sure can replace Lampard. Wilshere willing to help in defending more than Lampard and Wilshere look more creative than Lampard eventhough he didn't have much goal in him. Lampard just didn't shine for England like he did with Chelsea.
If Capello willing to gamble this midweek, he should start Wilshere and give him free role and show what he can do.

Too bad. Wilshere out from England squad due to injuries. So I guess we won't see Wilshere feature in the next match. It will be interesting though when Capello said he will start Ryan Gibbs. gibbs have been taunted as the next replacement for Ashley Cole in the England leftback position. I wonder how he will perform today.

I have heard about Wilshere but I don't remember how he plays. I cannot say anything about him, but if Samir Nasri, a very good player says this about his teammate from Arsenal then it means that Wilshere is a talent player. If he will be serious about playing and not paying attention to other things than football then he has real chances to become a star of England.

Very promising indeed. With first team opportunities in Arsenal, he will no doubt continue to develop into a world class England player. Definitely a player to watch for the future!

For the first few times I watched him play, I can't understand what the fuss is about. He doesn't go on a dazzling run, his passes were sideways and nothing like the penetrating passes of say, Fabregas. However, the more he plays, I see that he is fast improving. Yes, he still does not do a mazy run, his passing is more penetrative, and boy he sure has the tenacity to go with it. Whether or not, he will be a further england star, it remains to be seen. If he can keep his feet on the ground and not let the media stress affect his play, then yes, we will have the new england star.
