my child always say.... "mama i like this, and that"
even when he just saw a toy commercial on the tv.
and when we are at the mall, he always brings new toy at home....
they say my kid is a bratt one, because what ever he wants, he get...
though sometimes i want to controll myself giving in easily, but he got his style.... just a sweet smile, a little blink of the eye, and with a soft voice saying mama please... he already won....

Hahaha, it reminds me of the adorable 'Puss in Boots' from the
movie Shrek where he managed to get what he wants with his twinkling
eyes that mesmerized It is really difficult to reject..
However, as parents we should give a thought before immediately buy
whatever the child wants to avoid 'loose' control in the future.

hello there! My daughter is still 4 years old and she does not actually asks toys, what she asks is food! But, I do not easily give in to her requests though, I still weigh things if it will be good for her or not then I will provide her request after. I don't think it's bad that you easily give in to your child's request, I believe that you really love your kid and you want him to be happy, so if you can afford/provide what he asks, then by all means give it to him, just make sure that along the way, you explain to him in simple terms how you love him and that you want what's best for him. :-)
