I really hope Carroll jump from U-21 to senior squad of England will benefit him rather than ruining him. He is still young, and there is still alot of unknown factors in his development both physically and mentally. God knows how he will turn out 5 years later. Will he be another trouble maker, or the future striker of England.
I do believe his energy and drive will bring in some fresh air to England.
What do you think?

I think he will do well. It is a chance for him to shine and show what he can do at international stage. I'm also looking forward for Jay Boythroyd. I like him since he played for Perugia. And I assume Wilshere will get a longer playing time.
England are ddesperate to have new blood in the team now. So anybody that good enough will get a called up.

I have this sneaky feeling Jay Boythroyd will partner Carroll in attack.

This is the problem when a young english prospect turn up in the league. Suddenly, everyone expect him to be the immediate savior. That is simply too much pressure for him. Let him get his first international cap under his belt, see how he penned out for the season before anyone start calling him the new star.
