Recently watched the movie The Last Air Bender based on the anime Avatar. The movie felt quite snapped at various scenes, no popular scenes were there, no extreme action was there as shown in the anime counterpart.
I felt that it could have been a lot better, I like the anime very much. Never expected the movie to be like this.
What do you feel?

Ya your friends have informed you quite correctly, ya most of the movie uses graphics but it doesn't reach upto the standards of the anime series Avatar.
Thanks for sharing.

A friend of mine watched it and he too was gravely disappointed. It's like Dragonball Evolution all over again. I don't know why they remake anime/cartoons into something forgettable. They have all the equipments, the staff, and money to make better movies but they're wasting talent if they had any.

Ya that is what I felt when I saw the movie, Avatar(anime) is such a superb series, and seeing the movie, I felt that it was complete waste of resources, the movie could have been a lot better.
Thanks for sharing.

I always figure out that it is better off not to read the book since you would be frustrated with the expectations like you do. I just watched movies for fun and entertainment with the family. The Last Airbender was entertaining for me, I think they will be releasing the continuation or another chapter right?

Yeah they will be bringing out the continuation.
Ya if you haven't seen the anime or read the book then it will feel quite entertaining. Same goes for Harry Potter movies also.

This movie as I said is overall good and entertaining, you can watch this once. But I personally feel that the anime counterpart was way better.
And this movie is to be continued, that means another part will come.
Hope that will be good.

Ya reading book or seeing the anime and then going for the movie is frustrating.
I too felt frustrated after watching this movie, had very high expectations.
Hope the next part is directed well.

Ya very much agreed, the Dragon Ball Z movie was totally a loser. I had expected so much, at least expected Goku to be more effective. The movie looked more casual, rather looking even a bit serious, and even I didn't like the graphics much. It wasn't that effective.

I have seen the anime Avatar before, compare with the original animations,The Last Air Bender disappointed me.As you said,it could have been better.Perhaps the director have to cut lots of scenes or details for the wholefilm, but which scenes have been cut weren't good for the movies.Hope the next could be better!

Compare to the anime, this movie kinda frustrating. I think it would be better if the story isn't cut to much. I think, the fans wouldn't mind, if each book are cut into might be two to three movies. Also, fighting scenes must be more detailed. If every fans crave will be answered, then a part two movie won't be a problem, right? Also, the movie will also earn more.
