Try Super Media Converter . Its is the best media converter as far as i have used . It has options to convert between almost all media formats available . Also it has the options to adjust the Audio and Video quality which we can set keeping in mind our output size . The software is very easy to work with and very simple to understand . The latest version is "SUPER © v2010.build.42" . Above all it is absolutely FREE!!!!

I have been using Pinnacle Studio for many years to edit my own video footage and that of other people. I have tried out a number of other packages but every time I find myself more comfortable back with Pinnacle Studio. I have also experienced that if you plan your videography shots well, it makes the editing part much easier.

Unfortunately the major video editing computer software producers must find a trade off connecting the facts and what appears advantageous from the marketing aspect in the matter of minimum system prerequisites. They realize if they supply the perfect computer configuration for you so that you can run their editing programs successfully you may give up because it might seem difficult. How ever they still have to give some form of credible suggestions to make sure their program doesn't persistently fail on your computer. And so in order to walk the center path here. Iam delivering this as typical overview that fairly truthful and with a little , not too frightening. Monitor Image resolution: A few of the video editing computer program makers give a minimum requirement here whereas other do no t. In actual fact, for most of the current day, successful programs you will require the absolute minimum screen display size of 1024x768. In the event that you try video editing at a display resolution any less than that you will discover that the majority of software application will basically just be unable to operate and those that do, behave abnormally and will be predisposed towards crashing regularly. CPU Capability: There may be normally a large variation here in just what the vast majority of video editing software plication companies will suggest to be a minimum prerequisite. Often they refer to the processing capability considered necessary to undertake the easiest duties the application can execute. By and large they will have to have a dual core processor of some description running at a minimum at more or less 2.0 GHz which will manage almost all commonly performed editing needs. Always remember that if you intend to deal with high definition elements the need for greater processing capacity heightens appreciably. RAM: The typical minimum size suggested in tis case is for 512MB and that's a number which i personally think comes from a fairly tale. 512MP of memory space will only just provide you with sufficient to get nearly all operating systems functioning before we additionally give consideration to progressing to video editing, When you are editing standard definition footage on an aged personal PC you may get the job done. Also, the most common suggestion from the video editing computer software manufacturers is for 2GB of memory space if you are going to be processing high definition clips. Yet again, this is generally to small and only if you are able to aggressively close practically every other service working on your computer you will end up being confronted with chronic locking up and crashing. A very good tip to employ in this case is to have a look at the minimum they provide for high definition video editing and quite possibly double it or just purchase the maximum amount of memory space in to the computer as it can take on or suits your budget.

if you're having a good PC/lappy specification, i'll recommend you to use Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premier (for professionals).. it's nice and awesome.. but if you're a noob, you can use Sony Vegas Pro .. it's easy to use and user friendly.. :)
