Reading is actually not something that I really like. But I try to make it a habit. There are some novels that I really get hooked at them. I love to read novels that tell about struggle, life and adventure. Oh ya, newspaper is a must for me to read. Sometimes, especially weekends, I will buy at least two newspapers even though I know that the newspapers will report the same news but I just like to compare how the reporters report their news. Do you read a lot?

I am not actuall a reader. But recently my friends have introduced to into making it a habit. Short stories and other stuff were the suggestions. I am developing now the habit of reading something on a periodic basis.
I am also interested in reading news in the internet though. What I like about reading is that it allows me to be acquainted with the new words. By looking at the definition of those words, it increases you vocabulary which may allow you to use in future endeavors.

Reading is good habit to have. It expands your vocabulary and knowledge while allowing you to learn through the experiences of others.
I read a lot when I grab a novel (Salvatore's Forgotten Realms most often) I get hooked. I like the descriptions of the fight its like watching a movie in slow motion where every little detail is noticed.
Some say that reading the classics will engrain culture into someone. I find this to be true in some of my friends who love classics.

i am one of those who enjoy reading as well especially romantic novels with some action. my husband has been flexible and allowed me to have a library card which is like one of my dreams come true. i can borrow books that i like and read it when i want.
i enjoy reading newspapers too, especially aloud. hehe i like to imagine that i'm the news anchor and read aloud. it also helps with my pronunciation too.
i do enjoy reading non fiction books sometimes too although fiction wins overwhelmingly. i read non fiction only like when i have no choice or something although i enjoy reading simple cooking recipes, unexplained stuff and some other interests as well. i have actually written about all those novels that i enjoyed in my blog, so that i may refer to it one day just in case i want to re-read anything. good day.

I must confess there was a time when I read a lot of books, but now with the internet, I read online. This is not good for the eyes so I decided to spends at least a couple of hours to read physical books. Reading is a necessary activity if you want to enrich your vocabulary, for writers, lecturers and so on, but also for education.

All the reading is online and books are very far from me, I read news online most of teh time but on weekends I need newspaper. I do watch news on TV but only few channels, there are Tv channels showing anything which is either about any politicians or some GURU.

I love the fact that i can learn something new, or be taking away on an adventure. i make sure i read a book that i can learn something new from at least once a month. and of course i read other books just for pleasure. I would say i read about least 4 to 6 books per month.

I enjoy reading when I was very young. Probably that's when I got nothing better to do. I do not have a luxury of a tv at home, not to mention computer and internet. So books are my main companion. Now, reading has become more of a chore than habit. Instead of fictions, I read manuals... how boring :P

I have always LOVED reading. I literally get caught up in the book. I adopt a character that I like or wish I was and continue on till the end as if I was literally living the life of the character. I love fantasy and love stories.I really love true stories and drama. I literally read all Harry Potter Novels in 8 days. I almost read a book a day. I must admit that almost every boyfriend I've ever had has hated me reading. Reason being is that I get so into the book that I cant put it down. Ive literally had them hide my books. I try to get my girls to read. My older daughter reads but it has to be the hot, steamy, juicy novels. My younger daughter likes when we read together. I love this time we spend together. I only hope she'll adopt reading as a hobby. Happy MyLotting dl

I don't read as much as I used to, and get much of my news on line or via the TV as my partner eats her breakfast.
When using public transport I always try to remember a book. So at this time of year that's around 20-5- minutes a day.

Hey, I pretty much share a few good similarities with you.
Like you, I've grown to read the newspapers on a daily basis. These papers let my mind become absorbed with daily events, and it has a soothing effect for me. Novels on the other hand are pretty much a dinner time past time. My time reading them are for periods before and after dinner. I feel affairs and life struggle books detail more picturesque descriptions, and as a reader it gets to be fascinating figuring the scenery out.
Lets stay hooked on our hobbies, and I'm so happy that I've found company. Sunday marks USA today newspapers for me, as I'm a weekender.

I read a ton. It's a running joke among my peers and teachers at my college. "How long are we going to be here? Ally has BOOKS to read!" "Be quiet! Ally is trying to read!" "Quit making loud noises! Ally is going to beat you with her book if you don't let her read!"
I've been an avid reader since I was little. I've been in the habit of carrying a book with me everywhere I go since grade school. I typically finish 2-3 books a week. I've read 115 books so far this year. Yeah. I'm a big reader.
My favorite genre is high fantasy... so I love books like Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, and a whole host of others you've probably never heard of! I'll read anything I'm interested in though.

I was never a great student. I could always read well. I never liked reading fiction. Teachers always liked to work with fiction novels. Even math was elusive to me because it was wasn't real. Once I went to work I did quite well. I read and explained thing to customers extremely well. I balanced their accounts and showed them where their problem was. I read novels about factual events. Secretariat right now. I read news and biographies.

I am interested in reading. When I was still of school age, I read novels that were appropriate for my age during that time. However, as I grew older, I started getting interested in self-help books, motivational books. And now, I read a lot of articles from the internet. Reading is really a good habit. It widens your horizons on how you perceive things. It stretches your imagination and creativity. Reading is an experience that could be life-changing or life-inspiring.

It is a good habit to keep reading as a habit.now, when so many things crash into our minds.we read on internet, write by computer etc.Our thinkings doesn't used to reading and writing by ourselves.
So,we should get a habit of reading and writing, everyday, reading a piece of newspaper, writing some words on your notebook to keep your mind active.

In highschool years I do read a lot of novels up to my college years.. I've already collected a lot of pocketbooks but unfortunately out of my goodness in heart I often let my friends borrow my pocketbooks wherein not a single one of them bothered to return it. Up to now I still want to read but the problem is.. due to my works demand I have no time now to read at all. I tried to start reading BREAKING DAWN from the movie Twilight but up until now I haven't finished it yet.. Before a 1 thousand page of a novel is just 2 days for me to finish reading but now I haven't get to read up to a hundred page of the Breaking Dawn novel..
