Harry potter 7 part 1 has already premiered in several cinemas all over the world. Were you one of those lucky people who got to view it first? Im not, though as much as i wanted to, because I am now busy nursing a baby and I dont think I can even go see the movie on its regular play date. How I wish I can get to watch it, it is one of my favorite movies and I've been following the series since it started. Anyway, how did you find this latest HP movie? hope its not a disappointment.

I saw it yesterday. I'm a big HP fan and even though I tried very hard, I could not resist watching the movie on the first day.
As usual, there was not a lot of artistic liberties taken - they most stuck to the script although there were some minor changes, not enough to compromise the story. If you've read the books several times, you might find the story changes abruptly. But I guess books are really hard to translate to the screen.

This is very true especially in a book like Harry Potter that everyone has read. If they change it too much they'll lose a lot of revenue even if they're better. Just because people can't handle change to something they already love.

Hello friend.
I went today with my girlfriend to see the new harry potter movie at the cinema. It was in premier 1 week ago, and we wanted to see it this Wednesday but my girlfriend got called at an interview so we had to skip it.
Having seen the new movie i must say it was well worth the investment, and did not let me down at all. I should mentioned that i read all the 7 books this year so i was already familiar with the story, and Warner Brothers did a great job adapting it.
I got to see Emma Watson with long hair again

I've seen it, and I liked it, although a few things disappointed me--it was a bit slow-moving (much as the first 1/2 of the book is), and there is too little of the main "villains" in this movie--only about 5 minutes for Snape and the Malfoys, and maybe 10 for Voldemort. The animated telling of the Three Brothers tale was very good, though. And it follows the book better than some of the other movies do. Hope you get to see it soon.
