I can't even word out my own opinion. I am totally blank.
I love writing. I do. I had realized it few years ago.. And I always want to publish my own book. But it hasn't happened yet. I have this ambition to a writer.
I do online writing for this moment.. And.. What I have now, is totally blank. I can't write. If I push myself to write on a title.. what comes out is all those non sense and out-off-title writing..
I don't know if it's because the stress I got on my office job, or what? I don't know.. I am so frustrated now.. Really..

Normally I don't title a publication of any sort until I am further into the book because just hte right title will come to you eventually. What I would od is wander around a park or something and just think about the plot of hte story and a few words that you think of normally become the title.

Well Luv, it is because I write for a website that provides titles. I look around the titles which I think I can write on, but when I found one, my mind just get blanked!!
Fiuhhh.. I hate this situation.. I remember that I used to write more than one article there..
Once I pushed myself to write and the article I wrote got rejected.. :(

Being the " title person" I can imagine is a tough job. It has to be catchy but direct at the same time that gathers anticipation. The only other suggestion I really know to give would be to look at old movies and think of titles from those.

Well i find when im stuck and the thought process seems to have hit a brick wall i grab my pencil notebook and put beside the tub - then get in and have a relaxing soak letting my mind wander over other things. I find this quite often kicks my mind awake and releases several possiblities(hence the pencil and paper) to write down when they strike. - good luck

We've all been there! I think what you need to do is to go back to the stuff that inspires you and makes you want to write. Just jump right in and write whatever comes to mind. It's okay if you don't think it's good. You can edit something bad, but you can't edit a blank page. So go ahead and write what you feel like writing, and don't hold it back because then you're still going to be staring at that blank page.

Don't force yourself. You are under stress. Take a break. Writing is an art and most artists produce quality output when they are in the right mood. I used to write online also. And I dream of writing a book too.But with my current stressful (and almost chaotic) situation, I just get contented by expressing my opinions (here) without worrying if I write correctly or not, or whether I'll get accepted or not. Relax...God bless you!

Hi Hesttylim, I know this may sound crazy but nothing is impossible. Your mind is attracting blank because that's what it's focussing on. My tip, take a break, still your mind, say for 15 mins. If thoughts come into your head, observe them (don't get involved or try to resist them) and let them pass. Return to your work. Let your mind focus on you writing titles; visulise it, feel how easy and rewarding it is. It's important that you feel it as that will trigger your sub-conscious. Your belief system is messed up thro stress. You know you believe (actually) that you can do this; you have done it, you can do it. Try it - what have you got to lose...
