How do I formact my laptop with windows vista?\

Hi guys, I have a small problem with my laptop. I have Windows Vista, and I bought it about 1 year and 6 months ago. I never formacted it and I know I can't becuase I do not own the original vista installation cd with my license key. I am really afraid I have to spend too much money to bring the laptop to a good assistant and technician. What can I do now? Any idea?

whats the brand and model of your laptop, search for it on the web if it has a automatic restoration to factory default settings, there are laptops that can be reformatted to its factory default settings with using any CD's because it has auto recovery inside it, I think ACER laptops have this kind of features, that can be accessible in startup screen press ALT + F11, if your laptop is not acer, try to search about it on the web, Godbless
