I have suffered dandruff in the past. it is something annoying, discouraging and often frustrating. I dont have this problem any longer, but it used to be hard on my self confidence.

what did you do to get rid of your dandruff? I am using head and shoulder the pink color..so far I don't itch anymore!
Haven't tried aloe vera though I have plants here at home.

but before you find any solution do you know where you get it? sometimes dandruff occurs if you are thinking of a lot of things. i mean stress can cause dandruff too. my wife puts coconut oil on my head every now and then and comb it or sometimes massages it so dandruff will not invade me har har har. you alo need to check what kind of cloth you use for a pillow case. my wife says something about that. that sometimes our scalp is allergic with certain type/s of cloth that we use as pillow covers. aloe vera is hard to find in our area but i know that is a good way to control dandruff.

you can get aloe at quiapo but i dont go there much. the oil is okay for my wife makes that out from coconut milk. it also smells good so the oil is okay. it is also all natural like the aloe vera plant. since my wife is the one making the oil she sometimes put drops of scented oil so it smells wonderful. it not just take out stress it has also TLC.

So sweet. Your wife is so lovable. I think you better to try that aloe vera. Really effective. Now its my third day and its good. try to buy aloe vera. You can find that in the province. Just ask people around your house or to those people who you know.

Oh my Dad can also make his own coconut oil. When i was young she dont want me to look at it. I dont use oil for my hair. its so sticky and i dont like it. I dont know why.
But i used hair gloss sometimes. Not really sticky and really have a good scent too.

I suffered from dandruff ever since was a child. I basically use Head & Shoulders and tea tree oil to reduce it. I have a cause of dry scalp, which increases the amount of itchy dandruff. I have to oil my scalp very often.

Try this natural aloe vera and i think it is effective as natural medicine. I heard that there's a lot of people here who used it and get rid of dandruff. No chemical added and any additional preservatives and chemical medicine.
In my 5th day using natural aloe vera i felt the difference.

I have not heard of using aloe vera for dandruff, but it is certainly good for many things, so it might just work on dandruff too! I know not using too hot water will help some but I cannot think of any natural remedies!

Yeah, I say go for it! It might just work the best of all and that would be great especially since it is free!

Very easy and very convenient.

I've seen lots of shampoos in the market who used aloe vera as their main mixture in shampoo. And i think it is more effective if i will use the natural aloe vera and have lots of nutrients and not done yet in any process. Very natural herb and i know it is really effective.
I will just try it. Anyway it is just for free. We have that here in our home.

I've heard a lot about using aloe vera to cure dandruff. But i think it won't cure the dandruff that fast. Based from my experience Head & Shoulder really works on dandruff, believe me i even got to cure it by just one wash.

Head and shoulders not really work for me. I tried to use it and its getting worst. I will try this natural medicine if really effective. If not i will try that anti-dandruff shampoo.
I think its all depend on how we used it and if we like it or not.

I use to suffer from dandruff and itchy scalp and dry scalp. I used aloe vera and it worked, I blended the meat of the plant so to speak and put it on my scalp with some jojoba oil and tea tree oil. I have not had any scalp problems since. that's three years ago. Also you want to use clean combs and brushes all the time. also add some apple cider vinegar to you final rinse of water, this also cures and prevents dandruff, it also balances the PH of your hair. all the best. oh and drink lots of water and put some zinc in your diet.

Your so nice. Thanks for all the information in addition in my posting. For now i will try the aloe vera alone to notice and recognize which oone is the best. If still not effective i will try the other ways just like what you said.
But i feel more relax now and comfortable with my scalp. i think its effective.
Natural medicine is the best. No chemicals and just for free.

So you mean you are now free having dandruff? So good to hear that. Well right now im trying to use natural aloe vera to my scalp. Then so far its good. Its so cold when i put it into my scalp. So refreshing and i feel great. No more itchy flakes i guess.
Hopefully i think its more effective than any artificial shampoo in the market. I will continue this until its gone.

Wow i think it is really effective. Like what we have seen in the markets they are using fresh/ natural aloe vera in the ingredients. But it is more effective because it has all the vitamins and not yet processed.
I just read it in the book. And natural herb medicine is the best.

I have really long hair down to my waist. I find my scalp gets very dry from all the beauty treatments I use. So this aloe vera sounds like a great idea.
I will be trying it to see if it helps. Thanks for the information.

I also notice that every time used conditioner too. And i wash my hair not pure shampoo but with water.
In my third day using aloe vera i think it improves a lot. Hopefully its getting better.

Hello daiweian06,
I have never tried it before. I also suffered from dandruff. I used diluted vinegar during weekends to get rid of it. On weekdays, I apply mayonnaise. It works for me. Soon my hair will turn into a salad.
But I heard aloe vera is good. They use it as an ingredient for anti-dandruff shampoos.

I tried to put two strands of aloe vera into my hair. And its so good. Very refreshing and cold. Before i dont like aloe vera not really smells good but now i need it.
You made a great salad in your head i think. Its so yucky to put some mayonnaise and vinegar in your hair. Sorry for that.
