Music for ceremonies

I've been thinking about the music I'd like to walk down the aisle to. I'm not being traditional in any sense of the word so I'd like something beautiful and different.
I like most types of music and I thought about classical pieces and some different songs but I'm stuck. I wondered what everyone else thought? Something with meaningful lyrics would be nice.
Any ideas?

our entrance music was Hoppipolla, by Sigur Ros.
it's quite a remarkable bit of music, and even before we chose it for the wedding it just filled me with a really special sort of emotion I can't quite put words to.
it's very beautiful and dramatic, and considering that we married in a cavern, beside an underground lake, surrounded by hundreds of candles, the whole thing all together was very goosebumpy.
I highly recommend it. because after the occasion I know we couldn't have picked a more perfect piece of music for what that moment felt like

I second the suggestion of God Made You. I would also maybe suggest God Gave Me You, though that one may work more for a first dance or something as it's a little more upbeat than the previous suggestion.

Very interesting post. I want to recommend the song "When God Made You". It would be a perfect song for wedding ceremonies. The lyrics are so meaningful. I can assure you with this song. I'm sure if you can listen to it, you will love the song and play it over and over again. Though i'm not in situation in planning to get married right now but this is one of the top song I will select in the future on my wedding day.

As we are having a civil ceremony and not a religious one we are not allowed music with religious words or phrases sadly but thank you for the suggestion.
