What you think about this game

I love warcraft. Its a very fun game and you get to meet lots of people. There are people that get "carried away" and lose touch with reality and real life. But overall, i'd say most people know its just a game, it is extremely fun and extremely addicting. Its well worth $15 a month. You should try it before you knock it.

this game is only 15$ per month, not 20. also, if you pay at a 3 month package, it only is 13.99 per month, and for a 6 month package, it is 12.99 per month. however, the new expansion (Cataclysm) just came out and it is full of new dungeons to raid.

Actually, the game is $15 a month. This may seem steep to some people, but it's cheaper than lunch and a matinée where I live. Lunch and a movie takes two to three hours. I play WoW for an hour or two a day on average, and I have more fun playing it than watching most movies. Will the game appeal to everyone? Absolutely not, and for those people that fifteen bucks a month is not worth it. Are there people who get way too absorbed by it? Absolutely, but that's hardly the fault of the game.

I only buyed the first game and did not payed anymore for it . If i have the money might lay but still , getting too addicted to it is not good . Since me and my friend play on free servers , and the game PvP get crapy with every next patch and expansion . So lately we don't play much blizzard in their "way" to make money ruin the game , at least the lore is worth it but i can watch it on internet or read it somewhere else . My and my friend were partly addicted played 10-15 hours from time to time , but when we have something to do or go out we done it . Now we cant play it for even 1 hour its too booring .

I love wow! it doesn't take over my life because i do have a job, kids, husband, house to keep up & other stuff, but I enjoy playing it in my spare time. It's fun!

wourld of warcraft is a great game i love playing it. the quest are very interesting like the water zone vash'er with to me is the best zone. vash'er looks very stunning zone with great gameplay. it dose feal like you are realy underwater.

I actually just started playing less than 2 weeks ago, for a few years a few of my online friends from another game I used to play, have been playing WOW, and finally I broke down and tried the trial period, and I am definitely hooked. I don't think that $15/month for unlimited entertainment at all. I'm sure some people spend more than that on a night out drinking. The nice nice is, the first month comes with the game when you buy it, so I have a month before I even have to start paying. I used to play another subscription based game for 10 dollars a month, and had 2, sometimes 3 accounts, so I don't feel too bad for spending 15/month. That is the point of online games, to get away from real life for a while, and I have actually found it to be somewhat calming and that is good, because I have bad anxiety. I didn't think I would like it because the word "war" was in the name.. but it definitely isn't what I thought it would be. I see it this way, we all have hobbies, some people go clubbing and get wasted, others stay at home and play games. I wouldn't criticize anyone for playing. I'm sure there are people who take it really far, and that is their right. I can definitely see how people can get addicted to the game, and I am probably one of them... but I figure as long as I make myself sleep and stuff there is really no harm in playing! So far, I love the game. I mostly like solo'ing, skilling, and questing. But I am still learning.

warcraft? i was once crazy about that when i was younger but i soon realize it isn't worth my time. maybe that one is just not right for me. =)

i can't blame your friend, WoW is really addicting! and i am too... i am so addicted to this game to the point that i lost my last gf for this. seriously. i chose doing a raid instead of going out with her for dinner.. and that's it... she dumped me because of that. well i've moved on and have a new gf right now and i learned my lesson to take this game into moderation. and about the $20 per month... i don't know how a "private server" appeals to you. i am playing in a private server: truewow.org - it's 99% blizzlike server. if you want to enjoy wow without paying any cent, try it. just in case you'd like it, add me as your friend in there, my character's name is POPE, im a level 74 priest ATM- 6 more levels and i'd cap to 80 :)
