I'm trying to make a few extra dollars by selling my son's old clothes. I've come to the realization that he will never wear them again =( [hahaa] and I need to make extra room so I've been giving some away, but I want to know if anyone has been successful in selling baby clothes & how? I live in Virginia so if anyone knows any places here that buys childrens clothes I'm all ears! thank you

Yeah baby clothes sells quick than any other things. I usually put them in a flea market, I have booth rented for a month. or you can sell by bundle on ebay..yard sale! are your clothes branded? they are the ones that sells first.
how old is your son?

I have things that still have tags. I sell the clothes that hes only wore once, spit-up free and in good condition, and that ones that still have tags on them. Some items I can sell per piece and some bundle. I don't have much else to sell other than clothes sizes Nb-12 months for all seasons at this moment, because I've given away hats and gloves and other things, and I'm not sure if I'm selling shoes just yet. If there was anything in specific needed, maybe I could help..?

No, I keep baby clothes and use it as a keep sake. Selling these clothes means other babies will use it, and I personally am against that happening. All my kids clothes are treated as treasures of gold as lots of planning needed to be used to buy them there pairs. I would rather keep the ones that stand out the most and free up space from the rest by giving them all to my pet Parrot. My handsome bird loves to bite and take apart clothes, so I'm sure he'll be able to enjoy their teeny clothings.

I was like that when my son was first born, but I realized he'll never wear them again and there are children out here that need clothes, and some parents struggle so I look at it as "recycling." For babyshowers I gather clothes and put them in a giftbag or basket and theres my gift! I do save the ones that stand out the most, but selling or giving away others is the option I choose to take because I love to help people out especially children and I LOVE money! =) Thank you!
