Hello LOtters,
Probably I am saying this now because not only I got a Flu or Cold, i needed that money to buy medications.I have a lot of things to spend on this month that's why i need the pay out. for two days I've been checking my balance to check if i could get it soon.
I had to even though am sick. as i tried to check my debit balance today, the atm couldn't read my card and said transaction cannot be processed. It's either i need to call my bank and have my card replaced or it's natural when you're balance is 0, that the atm cannot process what ever task you want to do there.
I got home so sad and very frustrated, not to mention sick.
but am hoping nothing bad happens except that am really this paranoid

Probably has not been processed by the bank. it takes a few days to transfer from paypal to eon card (I assume that's your debit card), usually 2-4 business days. So you might have to wait a few more days to withdraw. In the meantime, get plenty of rest and fluids. If you really need medicine, go to the nearest health center. Hope you get well soon.

It's the Unionbank card that can be linked to paypal so that you can withdraw your money. I understand that now most banks offer this service now so if you have an existing account, ask your bank if they have this service. Be careful, a lot of the banks are not familiar with this service. It's been my debit card for my paypal account so far.

Hi Advocate! I'm just curious, what's an eon card? Does it have no or lower charges? I haven't tried linking my paypal to a bank account or credit card yet, and I want to withdraw some funds in the coming days. My friend suggested SmartMoney because it has no charges, but I just don't know how it works. Thanks.

Aww, sorry you are feeling bad Letran. I am hearing a lot of people are coming down with something in the last few days. What about chicken soup? I know it doesn't work as fast as over the counter medications, but they have proven it is good for colds and if you had any orange juice, that is good too. Or anything with lots of vitamin C. Hope you are feeling better tomorrow..:)

Hi, Knight.
It isn't a normal thing that a machine cannot read your card even if it has a zero balance. But, it is possible that such machine will give you such notice regarding your transactions if the bank you are a depositor was off line by the time your transaction was entered.
To be sure, it is wise though to contact your bank. Sadly, they some banks right now do not entertain inquiries through phone especially regarding the details of your bank account balance.
I hope this can be fixed soon so that you'll feel a bit better. I hope too that med is available for your perusal despite of your atm problem.
Be well soon, dear.

Hi sweetie.
Go stand in front of the mirror and laugh at yourself, okay.
These things happens.
You need to try and relax a bit you know.
Just get into bed and stay there, the whole day.
Tomorrow things will look better again.
TATA.

Aww. So sorry to hear that. I hope you get well real soon, and get your money real soon, too. Have a good rest, take lots of water, take some soup - like chicken soup, vitamin c - supplements or through fruits like oranges and tangerine (dalanghita).

Hi L. Knight
I am really very sorry for you and specially for you health, your payout may reach in one or two days but you should take care of your health, you can check it online why you go to bank to check it. I really dont know what happens when you balance is zero because I never have 0 balance in my account and my bank too have a minimum limit of RM 1 in the account, you cannot withdraw you all money but you have to put RM 1 in your account.
But dont worry, if it is transferred then it ll take one or two days more, so be relax and enjoy life and take some home remedy for your flu or cold...:)
Have a nice day...:)

Hi Letranknight!
Oh My! I feel your sadness and frustrations, maybe because I feel the same. I have this tonsilitis causing me fever, I am afraid it will lead to flu when not attended. That is why I have to take vitamins right away. Another, something happened yesterday that made me mad. I have fever and not feeling well, I ordered a refilled water with faucet, when I try to open it, the faucet was damaged and the water ran out on the floor. Darn! I had to do the mopping. After that, my cousin and I desires to have a barbecue and waited my bf to roast the pork. When my bf arrived, he got mad because he does not want a barbecue using the charcoal.
Then early this morning, my landlady sent me a text regarding our rent...Whaaat!
I badly need money too.

hi letran yes wew all have those when we are already sick and need no more troubles like a kick in the head, Cannot you phone the phone number the bank gives you for a no cost phone call to find out your
balance as I know here in the U S we have that. I had to use that one year at christmas as someone had given me a hundred dollar bill
as a gift, and the dumb cluck teller entered it as a deposit of ten'dollars. when the clerk on the 800 number said oh you wish to dispute the bank? in a nasty voice and I said yes,you short changed me out of ninety dollars. okay answer these questions so I did answer
them and then she told me it would take three w eeks. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'but someone else took over and in a week I found ninety dollars had been added to my account. no apologies of course.
So I am hopine you will get a new card andfind you do have a balance after all. we always feelreally awful when bank stuff happens when we are already ill. take care. hugs

There can be many reasons why a card is rejected aside from a nil balance but that didn’t help you much at the time when you felt sick and needed medications! I am sorry you are feeling lousy and could not even buy some relief for yourself. Being a cold there is probably not much you can take anyway. Hot milk and honey helps and so does hot chicken soup. I hope you feel better soon.

Now that was really frustrating. I guess we do have times of despair and struggles that we cannot escape to experience it. I am also in the same boat now since I am so tired of where I could gather the means for our expenses.
I am so frustrated also because I cannot see a result for now, maybe some more time to wait but it gets me tense because time is running out. I really needed to do something so that I can really get it. When things don't go along the way we want, it is really hard. Just cheer up, don't give up and that is what I am going to do today.

So sorry you are feeling under the weather as it really has to s@ck. Sometimes it works this way that when one thing goes wrong so many follow after.
Take it easy a bit as stressing is only going to cause your defenses to weaken and your recovery time will lengthened and then nothing will go your way.
I hope you feel better.

Oh I feel so bad about your situation. You are feeling not well and yet you are still here on MyLot. That is soooo cool! Thought you were not going to be active already for quite sometime and yet here you are posting what is happening to yourself now. hhmmm... I really cannot afford to get sick right now because the allowance that I will be having till i start working on the 22nd up to the first salary that I will have from there is already fixed. So any expenses beyond that budget is not already possible. Especially being sick. Waaahh...I hope you get well soon. You should've enrolled / registered to online banking though so that you will be able to check your balance on the net or on your mobile phone. I think that is possible here with some top banks here in our country.
I feel sorry for some people too whose ATM cards are being eaten by the ATM machines particularly the only bank affiliated with the top mall here in our country. They would really complain to the highest level of emotion and disgust because they really expect that money that is to be withdrawn there. All I can do is empathize nor sympathize with them because I can do nothing as well. But it is a major lesson not to withdraw to that bank anymore. I hope you get well soon (again)

This might be a bad time for you .But it is possible get money from Mylot . You worh hard and you can get the money and pay it for your well being . Don't worry , everyone will have ups and downs in their lives . It is common that everyone gets sick atleast once for their life time .So don't take it serious .It is just a natural phenomenon ,
Thanks for your post !

I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a bad day and that you've been sick! I hope you get to feeling better! As far as the atm card is concerned, you can try again tomorrow or just go to another bank. It might be a good idea to call your bank first and tell them your problem. Maybe they can help you. I just hope everything works out better for you tomorrow.

That is indeed a bad day LetranKnight. I had been there many times and I know how it feels like. It often makes me really sad and I know at the end of the day, I could do nothing but to keep working or rest if I was not feeling well. I hope everything will get sort out for you soon and that you can get the medicine before your cold get worst. Try to drink lots of warm water in a meantime and have lots of rest.
Have a nice day
