Are there any fruit or vegetable that can make you warm on a very cold day?

Of course warm food can make you warm, but what about a fruit or vegetable that doesn't even have to be cooked or heated just so it would make you warm?

Pineapple is a fruit that has the capability to make us warm. You can use more of spices in preparation of vegetables. This will also help to keep you warm. How ever these does not have a great effect though. They are just helpful a bit and not more. There might be some more of them, but usually none of us search for such fruits or vegetables in this context.

Try ginger tea. Bash a handful of ginger (do not peel the skin, just cleanse it in the water), put it in a glass, add white sugar (if you like sweet) and pour hot water. It is said good for any sore throat, too.

Ah yes, it is also good for improving the voice for singing or for military shout outs.

Hi, During cold weather, I love to have a glass of hot tea or ginger water. it helps to keep my body warm and I feel comfortable after drinking them. Or another method which required simple cooking is instant noodle or porridge. They are best meal for cold weather.

As someone already stated, ginger could work because the flavor is a bit spicy. Also, eating peppers (ex. chili peppers, a nibble of a habenero) could make you hot and start to sweat, but I wouldn't advise it simply because depending on your tolerance of spicy foods, it could be a very uncomfortable experience. Other than that, I"m not sure of what other fruit or vegetable could make you hot/warm without being heated.
