I am using Windows xp 2003. Today I was clicking some sites and my laptop got turn off.
I started it again but it didn't start. I tried it many times but still it is on the first page where I can move the curser between the option "Start in safe mode", two other and last is "start window noramlly".
I tried all of them but it is not starting up. I am not a computer engineer. So what do you think with such kind of problem? Should you reinstall the window?
Have you encountered such problem?give your solutions for such problems.
Thank you.

I think the best way to fix this problem is to reinstall your windows xp, I think the operating system is already corrupted, I dont know the cause, maybe virus, or unwanted programs that running to your system

Its hard to locate and fix the error if its in kernel, if that happens it easier to reinstall your windows, Good for you that your system is already fixed

Restart and at the page where u get the page stating, start windows normally, start windows in safe mode, network mode. There might also be an option stating "Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)". Select and watch the results.
If does'nt work then might be your primary boot device might have changed to secondary, keep pressing F8, go to bios, boot device and select the correct primary device (if u don't know which one then its like jumble from 3 option given select one by one for three time and one will work out for sure.
Check for any USB inserted in any stots, if yes remove them.
If that too fails, then its definitely to u hav to call a professional and make it ok..

Well one of the other mylotters and I were having that same problem a day or two ago. What he did is he restarted his computer and then just ran a virus software and I think he said that helped it. Although with me I think it has more to do with something else that my fiancee is doing but try running your anti virus or it might just be firefox if that is the system you are using because that is the one myself and the other gentlemen were using. My advice is try the anti virus and I hope that it will work or maybe let it sit for while or use another internet site like internet explorer or something instead of firefox. Hope this helps as I don't know much about computers but running the virus thing helped me a bit.
