What is your effective working hours in office?

Your office timings may be from 9 AM to 6 PM, but what is your effective working hours? I mean if you add all the time spent for actual work between 9AM to 6PM, what is your effective working hour?
This only shows how efficiently you work in office? I maximum work for about 4 to 5 hours a day effectively...!

Our shifts are 8hours. We have a 15min coffee break and a 30minute unpaid meal break. Other than that, we pretty much work all the time. Now and again we'll get to sit down for 10mins towards the end of the shift but, often we will arrive early and leave later than the contracted times so I would say we work 7 hours plus.

I work 7am-3:30pm mon-friday. I work 6 hrs effectively the rest of the time is breaks and lunch hour. I spend alot of time on the phone too. I like being busy at work though I hate days when theres nothing to do and your caught up on all your work. Like right now i'm caught up on everything so i'm sitting here on mylot. Might as well. Help passing the time. I dont think theres ever a day where I get a free moment like this so I'm enjoying it while I can :)
