Tonight I watched the badminton match again and I appreciate Kido who comes from Indonesia. His name is easy to remember. Most of all, his figure seems not to be a professional badminton player because I can see he is not very tall and he has a little big belly. But hard to believe that he can jump so high and hit the ball strongly. I like to aggressive attacking badminton player.

youless, When I was young, I used to be a fan of Liem Swie King from Indonesia who was at that time the best in the world. If you like jumping smashes and fast attacking play - he was indeed the greatest in this department. Unlike the present players, Liem was a very versatile player who not only played in the Singles but Doubles as well. His ferocity jumping smash was indeed his trademark and with pinpoint accuracy too. Until 1980, All England was the most prestigious world badminton tournament, which is equivalent to the present day's Tennis Grand Slam and Liem (The King) won the All-England Men Singles Championships in 1978, 1979 and 1981 during a six-year consecutive run to the finals (1976–1981). Also, he was a member of the Thomas Cup winning Indonesian teams of 1976, 1979, and 1984, playing both singles and doubles on the latter two occasions. Presently, I am beginning to appreciate China's Lin Dan where his playing style has really matured so much. However, I do not know how long will he maintain his form and fitness as the competitions nowadays are really getting much keener and tougher.

I did search Liem Swie King because I don't know him before. He is a real good badminton player. As to Lin Dan, I like him because he is confident. Several days before I started to like Fu Hai Feng who plays doubles because he is handsome

i luv and hate LIN DAN !!... i luv the way he plays - and he is WITHOUT A DOUBT, a very, very good player.. and 'performer' as well... he's not only good, but he also likes to 'entertain' his fans with his play... maybe it's just me.. but i also find him - a kind of a 'show-off'.. and i hate that he always never lets our own hero Lee Chung Wei win... [em]cry/em] last nite.. Lin Dan beat Chung Wei AGAIN !!!

Last night I watched the exciting match between Lin Dan and Lee Chung Wei. Both of them played it well. Although I am a Chinese and I should hope Lin Dan won it. However, due to Lin Dan has won so many times and China has many gold medals for the Asian Games. So I also hope Lee Chung Wei could win it. In fact here many of us like Lee Chung Wei, too.

Glad to know that you watched the Asian Games on the spot tonight. I am sure that you must have enjoyed it as can be seen from your description of the discussion. I have to say that I am not much into interest in badminton, let alone favorite badminton players. I like to watch pingpong better of the games. It is because it is our national game. lol. Good night, youless.

Hi Dear You Yeah, I like badminton but only to watch, I am not as much familiar with players and their names, I like the Chinese player playing here in Malaysia, they are really very good, I love to see matches between, China, Japan and Korea, they are really acrobatic players, but unfortunately I am really very dull in remembering their names, I can only see the country name and thats it...:) Have a nice day and Nice Asian Games...:))
