Have you undergone a hip joint replacement surgery?

I have a friend who is candidate for hip joint replacement. She still doesn't want to be operated because she's really really scared of what the outcome could be. I wanna hear stories of you who has surpassed this kind of situation. It'll be a great help for my friend too because I would be sharing your experience/s to her.

i havent undergone one but i have played a role in the surgery and also took care of one patient years back.

Hi I think that the outcome could only have good results. Last year a neighbour of ours had a new hip. A week after she was walking about outside. Admittedly it was a slow walk but she told me the more she walked the quicker it would heal up and be stronger and that it was a long time since she had felt so good. She looked and sounded very happy
