Well I've had this ipod for about 2.5 years. It's the 80G Classic and it has been working great until recently. My headphone jack for some reason or another is not connecting or not getting a good connection because my sound is only playing on the left side of the earphones. I must play with the cored by the connection to get both side to give sound. How can I injoy my music on the go if I'm play with the daren cord all the time for my sound to play out of both my left and right earphone. If anyone out there is having or had the same problem please respond and tell me what you had to do or what can I do to correct the problem.

Its unlikely to be the ipod. I have an ipod touch, had it since Christmas this year. Best best, would be to get a new set of earphones, this should solve the problem, maybe the wire in the earphones is damaged, as sometimes that tends to happen, usually depending on how u fold them (circling them around ipod not reccommended). If new earphones don't work, then maybe it is the ipod.

Does this happen with all your headphones or just the ones that came with the iPod. iPod headphones are not very durable. Please let me know, if other headphones work but the ones with the iPod don't, it was a headphone problem and not your iPod.
