Hi Mylotters! I just want to know if ayone of you suffers the same pain I'm in. I use the computer from work to surfing to playing games and I've noticed recently that both of my wrists are painful and the pain is still here at this very moment. One of my coworkers said it is rheumatoid arthritis due to too much using of the computer. What do you think? Have you experienced this one?

Yes, that is one of the dangers of using too much computers these days. A few weeks ago, I was in so much pain radiating from my back all the way to my hands. My doctor said that if I have to be in a proper posture and use proper typing then I would be develop arthritis too. I took Alaxan FR (Ibuprofen) for 5 days, and the pain subsided. But still, I still get the occasional pain in my hands, and I have stepped up my gym exercises for my hands and shoulders to fight arthritis. Computer users are also in danger of carpal tunnel syndrome.

As avid computer users that we are we are endangering many parts of our bodies. From the prolong use and positioning while surfing the net for lengthy times. Maybe it is not RA quite yet but it sure can be signs of developing so best you see a doctor and if it is you have to wear special wrist bands so that it doesn't affect as much. You may have to cut back a bit also. I have to say that the one thing that has affected me, is my eye sight as I am having difficulty now seeing small print and getting many headaches. I do not know how we can cut back, as I know I have to earn. I wish us both better health with all our efforts.

Thanks for your advice, my friend..I'll see a doctor immediately, so as to see if this is serious. My eyes are already nearsighted, I don't see any difference whether it is affected by the computer or not.;) Thanks! I think I need a vacation from using computers....
