Most of our computers are being affected by virus that makes so many changes without our knowledge like control panel will vanish , task manager will be disabled and much more . I found a Program named "Combofix" that can synchronize with Internet and clear all your Virus problems.

Combofix would be ok, but for long. I used lots of Online Anti Virus programs. If the virus is available only in another drive (other than C) and not started affecting core parts of C, than not a problem, But if your core Windows operating system files are affected then you online antivirus say Combofix will delete them too. Till u don't shut down you PC after that virus remover scan runned, ur PC will run ok. But when u switch off it and restart, Sometime ur OS gets corrupted and you hav reinstall it or repair ur OS.

Virus dude.. Some kind of .EXE virus. it duplicates files and reduces your hard disc space as well as Affects C files and make your system slow. This will create a empty new folder.exe kind of thing and occupy some space. Thou in the beginning it was harmless it starts its affecting work after some time. I was too affected by it many times. I used to reinstall the PC OS by GHOST 2k3 Installer and bring the PC to new. It will give relief for some days but since the core virus is not actually deleted which might be hidden in some other folder in some other drive, it start infecting the virus again. The Task manager stays for some time after that diminishes too. Control panel will diminish or the recycle bin vanish. I used a software named Task manager enabler but no use. To me, the only way is to format the hard disc and reinstall a new OS (Possibly Vista) and install a Anti virus (AVG is good for this) and update it and keep away from this damn virus.

I fail to see why someone is recommending Guardian Antivirus as the ultimate computer protection software. Maybe because he lives in the same country as the company, or is connected to it? On www.software.informer.com the software has so far received only one award from the site, and none from other sites. In other words the software has not been proven to be really robust. Compare this with other anti-virus or Internet security programs: AVG Free - Editor's pick, and User Choice. Also most downloaded. NOD - Editor's pick, User Choice, and 100% clean. Also to rated and most downloaded awards. Norton - Editor's pick, and 100% clean. Plus 18 awards from various websites. Karspersky Internet Security - 2 from SI, 15 from other sites. McAfee Internet Security - 1 from another site. Comodo Internet Security - 3 from SI, and 13 from other sites. I am not convinced yet, plus one commentator said it is too big for the functionalities that it offers.

Next time, use your common sense to protect yourself. Free Antivirus + Good Common Sense is the best protection. Or use Linux :P

You can always try resetting your computer to factory settings, this will get rid of these bad problems, but this will also delete your personal files on your computer. I do this when I have too much junk on my computer and I want my computer to run faster! It is really easy and simple, and it helps a lot!
