Yes, I am still using the traditional mail to send postcards, birthday cards, letters. I still have my penfriends from way back. even with the onset of emails, I prefer the real thing. We send emails to track down our snail mails. And I exchange something with my friends like stickers and stuff and the traditional mail should be it. And I collect stamps too so I need the traditional mail. Yes it takes a long time, for about two weeks but the excitement of receiving something after two weeks cannot be duplicated by the emails. And besides I exchange traditional mails with my friends or relatives during special occasions and sometimes no occasions :)

It has been a long time since I last used the traditional mail, or what we also call as "Snail Mail". It was perhaps sometime around 2003. However, that traditional mail was unqiue in itself and it felt good using that at that time.

Believe it or not I know folks that are in places where there is no Internet...Or it is not feasible to have Internet...lol I also have some elderly friends who will not do Internet and snail mail is the only way they will write. It is too expensive for them to call...They do not have cell phones either. I like snail mail...there is something very personal about it. You are giving of yourself when you sit down and actually "Take pen in hand..." It is also fun to get a letter. It is like getting a little gift. Shalom~Adoniah

e-mails are definitely faster and more reliable than traditional mails. Now, instant messages and sms are replacing the emails. With the advancement of technology, i imagine that soon telepathy will become possible for all! But the traditional mail is a reminder of the old times, where one sent it to the person he truly cares for, writing each letter with love, not today's forwards or bulk messages which lack the personal touch.

I can't remember when was the last time I have used the traditionally snail mail. I think it was during the time where the fatest internet connection speed is 56.6kps. Actually, I think email is a good thing. It solve the problem of having tons of papers wasted in the sense of a letter.

Yes, it has to be used so that material provides evidence. The paper will help the content and expressions be more formal and effective. Its more common for people to mail tax and social security information through the mail than the email. This will continue onwards, and lots of people will still enjoy using the paper mail method. In my view traditional mail is effective and only carries a small price load.

I only use traditional mail to ship stuff, from eBay. I believe that e-mails and instant messaging are more commonly used nowadays because it is "instant" and way faster than traditional mail!
