i could really use your help on this.
a few weeks ago, my mom and i decided to retire the current business we're in but just for the purpose of legally transferring its ownership. i was planning to retain its current trade name even it will be under new management. i got a call this morning saying the licensing division will be questioning our application if we did not change the business name entirely.
what trade name for an events management business can you suggest me?
services offered are similar to those of wedding coordinators and event planners.
i would like its name to be classy but with approachable feel, something that wont be too long so it will have an easy recall for the clients.

Maybe you can take the name you liked so well and kind of turn it around someway. I'm not really good at this sort of thing as you can tell! But if you liked the one you were using you can probably get something pretty close by using synonyms or some other kind of word play.

we previously had like (example) macdolinger photo and video coverage as years back it was basically what was offered but it evolved after a few more years in the business. now i would want to really make it into (eg) macdolinger events management and creative media. but i dont know, ws having sort of problems with the papers so i have to totally find a new name for it.

How about "Need Help? We Are Here." or "Let Us Entertain You"
"WE Manage, YOU Watch" or "You tell, We do " corny but

Here are my suggestions: white grass, event 1, masterplan, rotating chandelier, tip of the iceberg, arcadia, zenith, zed master, 12 roses, wizbiz, evening gown. Basically what came to mind.

quite intriguing choices.. i wonder what you have in mind when you had those suggestions. they arent what i actually expected but i must say, one or two of them can be catchy too.
and i never thought you'd engage in business name suggestions, lol just kidding. thanks for the ideas :)

"Events R Us" would be a good name for offering such services. The name itself speaks of the leadership of your business in the industry, that if it's all about events you're the one who should be taking care of it because events-are-yours so to speak.
