i think the pancakes im making are the best (or so i believe,lol) so i might as well share it to you.
im not sure if there are pancakes made from scratch but mine basically includes pancake mix, an egg, half a cup of milk (in place of water), grated cheese (you can have as much as you want), and maple syrup ( i love mine a bit sweet). just mix all these ingredients including the syrup, yes. the trick is how to cook it, i guess. it should be on very low fire when you pour the mixture. when bubbles are visible on top, then the other side is cooked already. i use sliced bananas or strawberries and syrup on top of the pancakes. sorry i know its kinda funny, i sound like im in a cooking show, lol.
so, yeah for other breakfast menu, you can make boyfie some bacon and eggs for breakfast and milk. or a simple peanut butter and strawberry jelly or peanut butter and chocolate sandwich with coffee.
i feel excited for you that you moved in with your bf already :)making it a breakfast in bed will make it more enjoyable for him ![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

Hey nikramos your pancake sounds absolutely tasty! I can actually feel my mouth water just reading your description lol. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe.
Thank you too velorea for bringing this up...i've always wanted to make the best pancakes too. I'm not so happy with store-bought pancakes myself and have tried experimenting but to no avail. Great ideas here :-)

Here is a simple pancake recipe I think is easier to make.
Ingredients:
* 2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
* 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 large eggs
* 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups milk
* 2 tablespoons melted butter
Preparation:
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1 1/2 cups of milk; add to flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in melted butter. If the batter seems too thick to pour, add a little more milk. Cook on a hot, greased griddle, using about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbly, a little dry around the edges, and lightly browned on the bottom; turn and brown the other side. Recipe for pancakes serves 4.

I think it would be more practical for you to make pancakes using the pancake mix available in supermarkets. It is usually packaged in a box and now comes with a variety of flavors like chocolate. The instructions are very easy to follow. It just requires you to mix the pancake mix, egg, water, and butter, of course in specific measurements indicated in the instructions. Then, you have to mix until the texture of the mixture is smooth and fine, with no air bubbles. Then you're ready to fry it a pan lined with butter or oil. Then serve it with butter on top and pancake syrup or honey.
