Dreams send us messages. But because we are not dream interpreter, many times we failed to understand the real meaning of our dreams. I do believe dreams have meanings because in a bible, God send messages to people by means of dreams. Most of the time I don't really understand what my dreams are gonna telling me, so I tried to search meaning in the net but I am not satisfied with what they gave me because they only have dream word meanings and not the actual events of your dreams. But in my previous experiences when I dream like I failed in a certain subject or exam I will later find out that I actually got the highest score or passing grade in that certain exams or subjects in real life. That means I have an opposite dream meanings. How abut you? Do you believe that your dreams have meaning?

I ever read about Jucelino Da Luz (A Brazilian school teacher) ,That his dreams full of prophecies From year about 1990 until 2040 , And most of the dream became truth like Nostradamus Prophecies.I believe some people have that power (Revelation/grace from God) ,starting at the age that he/she didn't know will became be .For Us Chinese poeple ,we believe a few dreams like loosing your tooth ,if upper side its mean your father will die,If down side your mother die, and a few more, I think that is supertitious, but sometime it's truth.

I looked into him, and found out that virtually every single one of his predictions for 2010 were wrong, some off by just a little bit, some off by A LOT. I don't think he's the psychic he claims to be.

I believe they do have meaning but I don't know what the point is because I usually don't remember them. If I do remember them I generally don't understand or know the meaning of them. I couldn't be bothered keeping the pen and paper next to my bed so I can write down what I remember. I just don't have time and even if I did the meaning of it all will still allude me and even if I manage to figure out what it all means....what then???

Of coarse dreams have meaning. There are many books that can be read that explain much about them.

I think dreams are the bodies way of working out daily stress and strains. Sometimes the meanings are very hard to figure out but there are some great books on the subject. And some people have precognitive dreams which are very interesting. I had a friend whose daughter had these for a period of time.

I doubt most dreams have any significant meaning these days.

Yes, I believe that some dreams do have meanings, not all dream though. Each person needs to learn how to tell if their dream is one that holds meaning or just the manifestation of a rough day. As a general rule I know that if I have been under a lot of stress my dreams are just random occurrences. Also if I can't get out of a dream it's a better chance that this is a dream trying to tell me something. I have been having prophetic dreams since I was a little girl so I've learned over the years how to pick out a real one from just a nasty nightmare.

I certainly believe dreams have meanings but on the other hand I think people try to put too much faith in dreams. Let me explain. Every once in a while I have some very weird and troubling dreams which if I was to apply meanings to them it would mean some sort of bad luck for me.Some persons I know live by their dreams and just never seem to dream anything uplifting. Always doom and gloom and they live by this depressing doom and gloom they think exist over their lives. I know of a fact that many times our dreams are based on our state of mind so before I go off applying meanings I try to link my dream to something which might have impacted on my emotions or thought process so much so that I regurgitate it in a dream. I have had good dreams come true and I have had bad dreams come true. Then there are those many drams which just never make it out of dream land.

Dreams aren't pyschic predictions of whats going to happen in your life, or anything like that... dreams are recreations of what your mind is going through, usually the new mixed in with the old, with strange, mixed situations around, too. Things like the dream you had of failing the exam, that shows how worried you were about failing it. You must have had that dream when the exams were going to be coming up soon, and they were on your mind, so your subconscious recreated the situation. I'd also bet, in that dream, there was something like, you were in a place that you knew very well from a long time ago, or an old friend was there, or something from far in your past was also there. If you want to get a better idea of whats going on in your dreams, then start writing them down, every time you can remember them in the morning. You'll start slow with it, but improve over time as you get more used to it. Thats what I do, and they are really interesting to look through. If you want to learn more about how they happen, read some work by Sigmund Freud. He did some great research into dreams, and was the first man to really get hold of what the subconscious is. Really interesting stuff.

I don't believe that dreams have meaning. Maybe there's a time that the dream seems like true but there is no connection with the meaning of interpretation of the dream...

Yes, since my grandmother passed away she visits me often in my dreams. her information is always useful. There is a great warmth that comes with each visit and in my last dream, I was able to hug her. I think a lot of our dreams should be interpreted differently that we interpret them.

Yes, I do believe that dreams have meanings. At times GOD use our dreams as a warning to us.Though there are certain dreams that we should not give attention to. Whenever I had bad dreams I pray for it right away when I wake up. Because there were instances that my dreams came to reality.

I think that there has been many times when i have had some great dreams but unfortunately i don't remember them. I also think that we dream for a reason, i guess mainly it is for things or people we would want or would like to happen. I guess that there has always got to be a meaning for dreams otherwise we would not need to dream. I think that our dreams can have both positive and negative effects on us, it really comes down to how we deal with the situation. I think sometimes we want things so much that we dream about them, whereas other times we are worried about something and we can dream either a positive spin on that or it could be a bad dream in which it would make us feel worse.

I wouldn't put much stock into what you read in the bible because that's a work of fiction written by men. The idea that dreams have meaning has been around for a while and I think there is something to the idea. It can hold the key to your subconscious and tell you who you like for example. I don't think nightmares have much meaning though and I have them quite frequently. I wish I didn't because I can feel the pain of getting jabbed or stabbed with needles and knives. I hope you only have pleasant dreams.

As a therapist I have run many dream workshops with groups of interested people. One of the main things that we discovered in these workshops was that each person knows the meaning of his/her own dream. All they need is to recognize that each part of the dream represents a part of the personality of the dream. Once this is understood, the easiest way to interpret the dream is with a group of like-minded people who also want to understand the meaning of dreams. I am a Zen practitioner also, and that means that I am on a sort of journey through life that never ends. Most of my dreams involve travelling and hotels and these dreams are telling me about parts of myself and how I am responding to my journey. My dreams seem to do most of my travelling for me, as I rarely travel far these days. The dreams can also be testing my knowledge, because tests tend to reveal my strengths and weaknesses and show me what I may be avoiding. Dreams are fascinating and very useful "tools" in life. _Derek

Dreams are quite amazing. I think the reason there is so little that goes into talking about dreams is that no one really knows why we have them? They know the mechanics of why we dream but the actual reason in connection to our mind and body, I do not think they have really touch the surface.

To me, I believe that dreams are composed of our deepest desires and fears. I believe that they are composed of the thoughts of the unconscious mind that the conscious mind is not willing to express. I believe dreams do have meaning, but can sometimes seem hard to decipher. Overall however, It's my opinion that you can determine the type of dreams you have depending on the state of mind you fall asleep with. For that reason, I always listen to music and reflect on what my desires are before I go to bed so I can train my subconcious mind.

Yes, I do believe that dreams have meaning but it could not be interpreted easily by anyone. You have consult an spiritual director for them to discern the meaning of your dreams. There are dreams that give a person warning on what they are supposed to be doing but sometime some people say its just a coincidence or if not they say maybe because of you are not at peace before sleeping that is why you have that kind of dreams. Dreams may come true but sometimes it may not.

firstly i do not believe in a god. But dreams i believe are parts of our past lives or our futures to come. Yes i believe in reincarnation and think i was here before and will be again, by things that happen and places ive visited for the first time and yet i know whats there so i have been there in another life. So dreams to me are a reminder or predetermined future which we can do little about.
