Do you think Wikipedia should have ads?

Since we all regularly visit Wikipedia, I presume most of us here have already read the appeal of Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales. But if you haven't read it, go to Wikipedia. The appeal was to ask regular users to donate because Wikipedia, apparently, needs more funding blah blah blah. In his appeal, he pointed out that they don't have ads because the site is for the people, no nonsense something But, if you ask me, I think they should have ads. Wikipedia had lots of regular users. In the appeal, Jimmy Wales said that they've got 400million regular users. If they allow ads in their site, their will definitely be lots of advertisers and they'll never have problems with its funding. What do you guys think?
