peace vs. freedom

Peace and Freedom are not always parallel to each other at a given time in a certain situation. Peace can be attained at the expense of Freedom, and vice versa.
So, if given the choice, what would you rather have, PEACE or FREEDOM? WHY?

Tough call. My choice would most likely be Freedom. You can be at Peace and still be a slave. But if you are at war, and have Freedom, you can mostly come and go as you please and make the best of the situation for yourself.
