Old school music is the best especially the nineties' rock, they surely rock. The beatles' music is great. Don't really know much about elvis' tracks. I was born to love the nineties' music.

Beetles, or Elvis ? Oh yeah, they are my all time favorites. I am very much addicted to listening to music and songs. I often go to philarmonic orchestras too whenever I have the chance. I have a collection of CDs of my all time favorites, Beetles, Elvis, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong, Doris Day, Dolly Parten, and more.

I like some of the newer music but I like the oldies too. I like the beatles and elvis. My b/f covers a couple of beatle songs. He plays Rocky Raccon and I wanna hold your hand. I don't think I have an all time favorite musician or band. I enjoy several different kinds of music.

Well Elvis and Beattles are fine ;)
But i hate Michael Jackson , yes he might did some nice things , but as singer i don't like him .
Well if i like song i like it it might be 40 years old but if its nice i will listen it . I listen Queen and White Snakes too .
But well i listen from the new groups like Kamelot , Lacuna Coil and a lot others ;)
So as long as i like the music , does not matter how old is the song ;)
Well i mostly listen to Lacuna Coil so they might be my favorite band ;) Christina Scabbia is great ;)

Time period doesn't really matter to me if the music is good. Simple as that, I don't think I have a favorite period

I too am an oldtimer and still love the songs of the good old days.My choice of songs and all time favourites are from the 50`s and 60`s and nothing beyond that.MJ has never been my favourite nor do i like his muxic however much the world may rave over him.My favourites of those days are Frank Sinatra, Pat Boone, Ricky Nelson, Cliff Richards, Elvis Presley, Trini Lopez,Louis Armstrong, The Shadows, The Ventures, the Beatles and a host of Instrumental orchestra like Billy Vaughn, James Lasr, Henry Mancini, Hugo Montenegro etc. I don`t listen to any of the present singers. The reason is that it was during my school and college days that i used to listen to Western music but after that my tastes changed as i became interested in Indian Classical music and completely lost interest in the former.I never looked back after that therefore i am completely blank in the contemporary pop nor do i feel that i am missing anything.

Good morning CD
My favorite singer today is Celine Dion. She sings like a lovely bird singing because spring has arrive. Then, there's, Susan Boyle who took everyone by storm. When she sang "I Dream A Dream," It brought tears to my eyes. Also, there are some more singers of today that I like, but I don't know their names, but when their songs are played on the radio I know the songs.
In addition, I will always love the singers and groups that I grew up with, from the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. They just don't come any better than. I just that I'm just an oldie, but a goodies.
Take care

I like today's music... but just not the mainstream stuff :) I'm mainly into metal and EBM (a genre of electronic music), but I also listen to a lot of soundtracks from movies and games. Some older bands and songs are nice too, though.
As for my favourite singer... well, that's a hard one, since I like many different artists. One of my favourite singers ever, though, would be Roy Khan from Kamelot; his voice is just fantastic, and even gives me goosebumps in some of the songs :)
Take care!
