November 18, 2010 is the official showing of Harry Potter. I didn't watch it. I was a bit lazy to fall in line. Maybe I will be watching on the second week. I guess by that time Fall in line a little short. Did you already watch Harry Potter and Deathly hallow Part 1? Did you like it? Is it worth to watch?

I haven't seen it yet. I want to but sadly I'm broke at the moment. I think I'll end up downloading it. To compensate, I know i'll buy the box set when they all come out. I'm excited to see that huge set of 8 movies + all the commentary & behind the scenes! EEK! I'm excited. heheh

Yes, I watched the advance screening actually! I love it! Super love it! I can say that so far, this was the best movie of the series! I love the effects (though not much was put in there as they say that this was more on workmanship). I still can't get over my excitement due to the fact that I watched it before my friends and colleagues do, to think that I was a little bit saddened earlier because I had no budget for this film. Hahahahaha Yes, each penny is worth spending for this movie!

I've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies. But I've read several reviews of it, and one critic said it was actually the best Harry Potter movie yet.

I might not going to the theater to watch it. I rather wait for it to come out in DVD. Not that I don't enjoy the movie in theater, I just don't want to waste money on to buy the super expensive ticket from the theater anymore. I want to save my money desperately, so dvd will be the cheapest way. Red box only cost $1.00 per night rental.

Haven't watch the movie yet , but I guess it will be more interesting than the previous chapter.Since in the 1st week of it's playdates , it will be better to wait sometime in order not to go on a very long cue at the theaters.

I am definitely going to watch this movie. I've seen all the other movies and I have all the books except the last one which is the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows because when I asked my mother to buy the books, the last book was actually not yet on sale in the Philippines. I was so disappointed. But it doesn't matter anymore. I will watch this second to the last Harry Potter installment. I actually just checked our nearest movie house and its still in the next picture.

Midnight showings are absolutely insane. I don't think it's worth it to be honest. You have to get there like 4 hours before it starts, and then you have to sit next to all the annoying hardcore/extremist Harry Potter fans... I'd rather wait and see it later on.

I watched it on the first day. I'm a big HP fan and although I considered letting this pass, I could not resist being one of the first people to watch the opening. There was no line at all, I proceeded directly to the ticket booth and was made to choose my seat at once. In fact the cinema was not even packed - there were a lot of empty seats near me. If you are an avid fan and read the book carefully, then you would notice that there was not a lot of deviation from the story. The chronology was changed here and there but not a lot that it would change the story. I like the effects and I am considering watching it on IMax to compare. Is it worth watching? It is, if you are a fan.

I don't really like watching movies that are surrounded by too much marketing as it usually disappoints me. Also the line to buy tickets is absurd. With respect to this Harry Potter movie however, marketing was no longer needed as the fans of the books and the previous movie can't wait for it to be released. The fact that the last book was divided into two movies is a good sign, it would seem to mean that it would be a closer rendition to the books. I haven't seen it yes, but I believe it is worth to watch. Will I like it? I hope so!

Yup i watched it. It was a cool movie but here the people expected a bit more action from it. Hopefully we will get more of those in part 2. But for Harry Potter fans i guess this part 1 was really nice and i loved it also. The movie is worth watching. You would also love it very much but for others it might not be such a good movie. Cheers!

I don't fall in line in cinemas anymore. Last night, talking to my wife, we remember the days when we use to do that, it brought smiles and laughter when all we could do nowadays is to see them in the comfort of our bedroom DVD-TV system. We love Harry Potter, but we can wait for the next DVD to come along on the stands.

I was able to watch it, there was NO LINE in the cinema earlier. I guess because it is the first screening for the day and it is a weekday. :) I just wish they will show the two films a bit closer to each other. It was 2hours and 30minutes long BUT it felt so short! .

Hi. I was able to watch it yesterday. Having been an avid fan of Harry Potter movies, I couldn't let this last sequel slip. I think it lasted for 2 hours. I really enjoyed the movie. I wish I don't need to wait that long just to see the part 2 because it's really exciting to see the ending. I was satisfied, I'm glad I watched it. If it will be shown someday as a full-length movie, I would definitely watch it again complete this time, I don't mind paying more. Hehe. =)

Same here, I haven't watched the movie yet. There's no way I'm gonna watch that movie on its second week, here in Philippines you'll get to watch the movie without falling in line only on its 3rd to 4th(if possible) week. Ugh! I'll definitely miss the Harry Potter series! And by the time its movies're all available on DVDs, I'm gonna purchase its collection package. Hopefully its last movie won't be that much disappointing like the previous ones. Crossing my fingers.
