hi mylot friends, Do you through your tooth paste after you used it, from now onwards do not through like that , in my child hood days, we are throughing empty tooth paste tube in dust bin ,after long time , means some 5 years back also I am squeezing tooth paste tube by rolling it to the next and get some more tooth paste, now I am cutting it from the bottom , and I am removing remaining tooth paste from the bottom end, then next day I am cutting some more part approximately one inch and removing the residual paste from it and using it, finally last day I remove still remaining paste in the remaining part of the tube at the neck and using it for teething purpose, but all these works done by me only, neither my wife nor my children will do this thing nor they will use the paste removed like this method, what about you?

Oooo... Yes I was want to arrange artificial teeth but my dentist don't agree. Something wrong with my bones that will not keep this implantation. So now I must use magnet denture. Cleaning of denture is more complex like real teeth. Keep your teeth clean and healthy because if you loose them there are more factors that makes you unhappy.

Hi! There was one time when my toothpaste tube was almost out and I cut out the bottom part too to get the remaining toothpaste. I was eager to throw the tube out so I cut it open. Now, I have another tube that's almost out but I no longer cutthe bottom. I try my best to push out the rest of the paste through the top. I fold the whole tube below the cap sideways & push the contents to through the cap with the bottom of the toothbrush...I'm not sure if that made sense, I can't explain it well ^.^' It sure is nice to really use up the toothpaste so that nothing goes to waste.

I'm afraid I don't do this, but I admire you for doing it! I'm just too lazy to do it, but it certainly does make sense to waste as little as possible. Congrats!

dear yugasini, what an idea. it is a great way to save although sometimes, for working people like me, i get very lazy and impatient and in a hurry, hence unless there is really nothing on stock, i would throw the tube away already and open a new one. but i do admire your way. will try to do with my next tube. thank you and have a good day. ann

hi ann, thanks for the response, this is also added to the savings, when the soap if over and a little bit of small piece remaining, most of the people will through it away, but some people just like me add this piece to the new and use it,so the remaining people will be utilized and not wasted, have a nice day

Hi, I will use my toothpaste till it is really finish. It means after I can't squeeze anything out with my hand, then I will cut away the bottom part of the toothpaste and actually there is still some residual toothpaste inside which can even last for another 2 days for me to use. It does not means that I am so stingy, but then I have to use thing practically and make sure it is use till the end.

hi shia, thanks for the response,so you are also doing the same about the paste ,it is a saving tip for the paste, before that we are throwing the paste in the dustbin,so there may be lot of paste remaining in the tube,we should not not waste the paste like that,so i am doing cutting the paste and using the remaining paste, have a nice day

Awesome! I never know we can empty toothpaste tube that thoroughly. What we do is squeeze it up as best as we can and use up the remaining paste until we can't push any more paste out of the tube. I know some people just throw the tube away when it looks flat. But trust me, there is still A LOT toothpaste left inside the container. It may look troublesome to squeeze out the rest of the paste, but think about how much material is wasted simply because people don't want to spend 0.5 second before they brush their teeth? I will try to roll up my toothpaste tube like you next time.

I too do almost what you are doing but don`t go as far as you do.We Indians are taught right from the beginning how to make the most of everything we use.Since the cost of living has sky-rocketted it is imperative that we utilize our products to the very end.So when my toothpaste comes to the end i try to squeeze as much as i can from it and when it becomes impossible to get more from it i throw it away.

Actually, I have always thought that I was conscious of frugal matters, but you sure beat me on this one! I have never gone to this extreme to use virtually all the toothpaste, most of it but not this much! Way to save!

I actually have used this method for many years as my ex husband showed me how to do it while living in Russia. He always liked to make sure that we used all of what we had and did not waste anything. So for me it does not seem out of the ordinary to do something like this and I even do it with lotions and shaving cream tubes too. You'd actually be surprised at how much product you are wasting if you just throw away the tube and don't cut it open to use the rest of it.

Absolutely I too do like you and try to get every bit I can from it. I see it like food when we reach the bottom of a container we take the spoon and scrape out as much as we can. You and I are not frivolous and find that we can use up every bit. So keep it up there is nothing wrong with that.

You remind me of my chodhood days in hostels. I was in a boarding school and we were provided with tothpaste every month. I have tried every method that you described here. Sometimes I used to share my tothpaste with other students and I have shared their too. I remember that every child was responsible for taking care of his own things and toothpaste is a small thing sometimes it get lost. In that case we helped each other. These days I squeez my tothpaste with all my force, but I don't cut it, because it waste time.
