What can you do to prevent Global Warming?

Global warming is due to excessive accumulation of green effect gases in the atmosphere which are mainly methane, carbon-di-oxide and water vapour. The causative factors are mainly use of fossil fuel in automobiles, burning of coal for electricity and in other industries. So, plantation of trees on one hand and restriction in use of cars on the other hand can reduce or at least restrict global warming to some extent.

Yes, I certainly agree with you. Recycling is one of the ways in helping prevent global warming. There are other different ways of course. Yet, recycling is what every household could do. The cities are encouraging the inhabitants to recycling wastes systematically, and they are using proper collection systems to manage the materials. Really excellent job !

There are many things we can all do. For those that drive, if you are going down the road try walking and not driving as you will save gas and spew out fewer toxic gas. You can also recycle and stop using plastic bags and switch to stronger ones made from recycled material. Plant more trees and help clean the air around us. I would suggest fruit trees as you also get free fruit ;) One last item would be using solar energy and clean energy to help provide electricity etc.

we can stop globel warming via growing more plants and trees. and we can also stop it via stoping automobile smoke and dusting which we are creating through industres. what you think about it?

I know I will be offensive to some members of MyLot but in my opinion the biggest problem will stop when countries like America and China sign and abide by agreements to reduce emissions to the atmosphere. There are also more countries that have to respect international agreements in GW but the bigest problem comes from those two countries. Almost all the world have to let free and invest more in research of alternative green energy. Yes I know... For the time this is illusion but from my side I try my best to this way. And to answer to the concrete question. In my house I change all lamps with energy saving lamps and change my electric boiler for worm water with a solar one. That way not only I save money from my pocket for bills from electric company but also I know that electric company will use less carbon to produce electric for my home...
