Cough that won't go away

My 2 children and I have had a cough for 4-5 months now. It was awful in the beginning but now we just cough every now and then through the day. Lungs have been x-rayed and allergy test has been done. All test were negative. The kids tried inhalers but it didn't help. I told the doctor mabey it was the whooping cough and we all took the Z Pac antibiotics. Has anyone ever gone through this? If it were the wooping cough, would we still be coughing this long?

It might be an unknown strain of cough that needs to be mapped out in sickness and allergy areas. There are many sicknesses ranging from fever, body blisters, and severe weakness that have never been listed and sourced by health professionals. I suggest that you eat healthy and take Vitamin C and Collagen tablets. Try taking antibiotics if the case worsens and don't spend much of your time in dusty places.

Thanks for the tips. We did start eating healthier when this started. Orange Juice is the #1 drink in our house right now, but mabey we should take a Vitamin C tab, also. It's odd that my husband and other children did not get this.

I heard the cough is the last thing to go too with wooping cough. Also known as the 100 day cough. I'm just not sure that's what it is. I just keep praying we'll stop soon. 5 months seems like an awful long time.
