I'm going to buy an Electric Piano Keyboard for myself as a Christmas gift to myself (don't act surprised I know you've all done it before lol) anyway I've only ever played one song on the piano but that was many many years ago when I was a child so I don't know any of the keys and although I am going to buy the books to learning how to play,My question I ask is how do I learn to play the Electric Piano Keyboard by ear?.

There are multiple ways of training your musical ear. I would begin just by outright playing the keys and getting used to the range of sound (look up octaves on the internet, it'll explain further). There are also a variety of key charts that tell you which key is which note on the piano, so you can start matching the sound with the correct note on the board. A strange, but more modern way of self-education is to look up videos on the YOUTUBE. There are many users there who post their own video tutorials on how to correctly position your fingers over the keys, how to read music, how to correctly use a sustain petal (I hope you have an idea of what that is), and even how to play a popular song. It'll take you lots and lots of practice, but over time you'll learn how to play many compositions, classical or popular, and soon you'll recognize the notes well enough on the piano that you'll be able to "play by ear". A piano is a good choice to start with if you've never played a musical instrument before. Most pianists find that after their learning the instrument that they can easily self-teach themselves how play other instruments, like the guitar, recorder, flute, or even the violin. I hope this information was of good use to you, and good luck!

I think you have to practice how to play the piano and learn to read notes to play piano by looking to the notes, As time goes by and you are playing piano always, You will learn how to play it with just your ear,

You've got to study the notes, and to accomplish this follow the outlines given in books. The best way to play through a song is by mastering each and every note, whether it be a C, D or A flat. There are no short cuts and playing by ear would be impossible even if you tried doing it with a Robot. After you've finished the first song, don't give up, because if you leave a lot of time to waste, you may forget lots of things that you had learned from the keyboard.
