how big is your family?

We just added our last addition. He will be 2 Dec. 10th. That makes us a family of four. But I come from a family of 5 people. My hubby comes from a family of 8 people. Yep 6 siblings. That's a lot, but his father is one of 13 kids. There are some huge families out there.

Quite big, I got 3 sisters and 3 brothers. We are all grown up now with families on our own. It was a grand experience growing together, i remember the cat and dog-like fights we have had..

My family is growing again :) It consists of my husband and I, our six children, 5 boys and a girl, and now we also have a son in law and 2 daughters in law and 3 grandsons and a granddaughter!! Christmases and Thanksgivings are great with the house full of family!

There are eight of us in our family there are my two daughters, my four sons,me and my husband.Where as when i grew up there was only me and my brother, my mother and my father.The thing is alot of children is alot of work,also they keep each other busy playing,where as a lone child gets bored easily i think.

I'm living with a family of 8 too. We're many it's just too fun to stay quiet. There's always someone to talk to you and possibly ruin what your doing or probably your day. I don't take it as negative. I like being around these yahoos. They're a big part of me.

Hi, I am the youngest in my family and I have one eldest sister and two eldest brothers. Therefore, I should say our family size is small. We have very close relationship with each other. Now, I have my own family and so far I only have one kid,so definitely I have very small family on my own,but I am quite happy with my life now.

I'm the youngest out of 5 children. I read a study recently that said that only children were the happiest because there is a lot of conflict between siblings and younger ones are bullied a lot of times. They are hit or have things taken away from them. We experienced that some in our family. My older siblings would play tricks on me to get my money or presents. I didn't have much growing up and most of my clothes were hand me downs. I guess I was unhappy for part of my life. I remember crying and nobody comforting me. Siblings compete for their parents affection. I probably would have been happier an only child, but I like having siblings at other times.

I have always concidered myself to have asmall family. However since I got married I have gained a larger family. My husband comes from 10 brothers and sisters, he is the 11th. I remember when he wanted me to meet his parents. I was so scared, he said it was his mom and dad and some cousins. I was thinking like four people. NOPE it was TWENTY-FIVE people. And hes like " that is not even a quarter of them". But they are great people the more I get to know!
