I am not sure how to answer this question really. I guess, I would say, partly yes, partly no. Sometimes, two people are being put together in some circumstances that are out of our control and now that is yes for destiny, however, in order for a budding relationship to work, you are responsible to act on it, so basically, that means no to destiny. What do you think?

Hi frenzylady,
You asked the question as well as you answered it too. I believe In destiny and fate, that does not mean that I do not act or take action to prevent or solve the issue. Yes destiny is ultimate but with our strong will, commitment, dedication and hard work we can change the destiny too.
It is said and proved many times, If you perform your duty sincerely fate will change If not today, tomorrow. Try doing what best we can till the last breath.
Another famous quote by saint Ramakrishna paramahamsa is "Prayers can change fate"
Do your work without compromise and pray god he is with you and he can change your fate.
So the answer is as you rightly said partly yes partly no.
Hope my post added some value to the discussion.
Thank you for starting a good thread
Good Luck,

I do believe in "love at the first glimpse".However, feeling doesn't always lead us to the right one .It is very common that people get confused by the first glimpse .

Well, you answered your question by yourself. But if you ask my views i would say that i don't believe in destiny at all, but i think the things you call density are nothing more than co-incidences. You can not depend on your so called density and if you do you can fall from sky to the earth. I hope everyone understand this. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

For me deistiny/fate, maybe or maybe not its just your in the real world, i think people or persons make destiny/fate for themself, its a matter of choice or decisions in life. Example if you love some then you broke up with him/her but in the end.....you and him/her are living happy together, is it destiny/fate? or rather a coincidence.

I believe life involve destiny/fate but i believe the destiny can be change if we put some effort, so the result should be different. Whether is going as we wish or otherwise. Now, with my little effort i hope my fate going to change a bit..

I think that behind our every-day mind we have a spiritual-mind (for want of a better description with which we work to create our own karma (or fate). Having experienced a definite pattern throughout my life, I don't think this is a particularly bad thing, but something which helps us evolve as human beings who are heading toward total integration of body, mind and spirit. _Derek

hi not really as if God plans things for us it is with the understanding
that it is always subject to change and we are the ones who make' those
changes. We always hope we make the right changes but we always have the right to make the changes.

I believe in destiny and fate very much. I have seen them both world in my own life and that of my love ones. It is amazing how things fall into place and happen when they are supposed to happen. This is also why I believe in going with your gutt feelings and not over thinking things too much.

That's a hard one..but..I'd have to say 'No!' I don't. As I have the ability to choose I then have the ability to influence and be influenced so that at any point in time the equation can shift. As long as there's choice there's no 'hard and fast etched in stone' kind of thing going on.
If I were to sum up 'fate' in the phrase 'Drop an egg..' what would the fated answer be? But, what if that egg were dropped in your bowl full of ingredients thus far or on a padded chair?..It's the variables that keep fate out of the equation..ENJOY!

I don't believe in fate or destiny. We meet someone in a place or situation we least expected. We fall for someone far from what we imagined. But I believe things happen with a purpose. God's plan for us may not be clear to us but everything is designed for the greater good. Having a relationship is not a destiny or fate. It is by choice. So working it out to make it last depends on how you act on it.

i would agree fully with you. If we can't control something then destiny does take over, but if you are forceing something to happen then there would be no destiny. I think nature should take its course and whatever happens happens, things happen for a reason but sometimes we want to control certain situations. Best to take one step at a time and let things happen naturally, then deal with things from then on.

For me not because it is not in the bible and Jehovah God don't said that way. That you gave a destiny.

What i know is if you made an action then destiny starts to roll. In other words, you make your own destiny. Destiny has many meanings. Depends on an individual's belief. Whenever an individual loses hope he'll just say that it's really not his destiny after all. In other words, destiny doesn't matter.

Hi frenzy lady: I don't think so. I beleive in opportunities. Some people have mnore opportunities than others but even with that, if we work hard and we take the good decitions we can archieve our goals. As you say, there are some circumstances that we can't change but destiny is what we build.

i believe in destiny. everything is planned by God to begin with; before we were born there are already things that are made for us. but ofcourse, relying on this alone won't work or succeed. it has to be done with hard work and faith in God.
