We have different moods at a time, sometimes when you just wake in the morning something around you makes you feel irritated and immediately switch your mood into bad. Maybe there's something in your dreams that made fee upset. I do believe we have the power to turn our bad moods into good if we will choose. For example we can try to wear a happy smile. Try not to notice others fault. Try to compromise you expectations. When we expect too much there's a tendency for us to feel upset when people don't meet our expectations. I just observed happy people are those who stay cool and calm despite annoying and irritating situation. How about you? How do you turn your bad moods into good moods?

It's basically just shifting your awareness to something else. If you can manage to focus your undivided attention to something funny or happy then it's sure gonna take your mood from bad to good.

Hello mayrah........nice discussion.....life is full of problems and most of the time we are in bad moods. But now a days I have found a very good solutions to change my bad mood into good mood. And this solutions is listing some good songs and music........it really helps......give it a try. After I get engrossed in listening to my favorite songs, I completely forget the reason for which my mood was low. My mind is refreshed and I feel new strength to move forward and that is what I do. When there are problems, there are also solutions.....so never give up.

Well I always feel much better from almost any situation by watching my favourite and most hilarious sitcoms. You can laugh in almost every situation and for me, laughter really is the best medicine.
Talking to people you care about (not necessarily about what problems you're dealing with but any random topic) is also good.
I also agree that you can't get too upset if you set your expectations low. That's what I do about most things because then, I can't get disappointed even though I secretly hope for the best. =)

bad moods always happen to me especially in the mornings. some of the ways i do to turn those bad moods into good ones are by sleeping or taking a nap, but not during my working hours lol, sometimes during my break time; also by eating like there's no tomorrow until you tummy aches; but the most effective way to get over it is to DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM until it gets resolved.

Like you said, the best way to keep the good mood is to stay away from other people's nagging,LOL, & try hard not to let their actions & deeds sour your mood.
Another important thing, don't let people know you angry about them or something they did, e tolerate as much as you can, i know it sounds hard, but keep the nerve for yourself, haha
Anger & seeing other people's fault & Defects can really kill the good mood you have, one should never compare other people's thoughts & beliefs with his, coz he'll just have a heart attack if one do so,LOL.
So my opinion is, be as tolerate as you can, keep the anger & critisim inside you is better than souring a good relation with a friend or a relative.

the best method to turn our bad mood into a good mood is by reminiscing our good memories with our friends, family or anyone else. memories are a great way to change our mood.
well i have read in a journal that pretending and smiling forcefully gradually changes our mood and finally changes our mood.

I will tell you the ways I follow to change my mood from bad to good.
Play with my kid
Read my favorite book
Listen to music
Talk to my wife
Sit for meditation
Analyze the reason for bad mood and work on it
Write a blog about life management(should try)
Out of these something or the other will work and a smile is back on my face
Happy Living
