Couple's gift

Currently my girlfriend phone was spoiled and she is very sad about it, so i think of buy her iphone4 as she likes it alot. But the price is quite expensive, so i'm still considering about it as i was thinking to loan a house for the future of us. My salary is moderate level only as i was a fresh graduate, and i got things to pay using money every month, so i can save around few hundred only per month. If you are me, will you buy the phone for your girlfriend? How much is the limit of gift price that you willing to buy for your girlfriend?

Why does she want the Iphone4 so badly? Will another phone or Iphone not do? Maybe you can compromise and get her something slightly cheaper? But I guess the main issue to think of first is why she needs that particular phone so badly...

Whatever you can afford will be the top concern when you think about buying her a gift. The iphone4 is quite expensive and I truly wouldn't buy it. Maybe down the road, when I get a good job and have extra money to spend, I'll think about it. But for right now, any phone that has decent call quality will be good. I don't spend a lot of time surfing the internet, playing games or using other applications on my cell phone. The best choice I've made when buying cell phones is buying cheaper ones with no data plans.
