I left school more than 30 years ago. Until I was 11 years old I went to a village school and then in the "big" school in the nearest town.
Now I have had a message to everyone that went to our village school that they are having a school reunion soon for all the pupils that went there and everyone is welcome and they would like everyone to go.
Would you go? I still have not made up my mind but I am more than enough swaying to the no I will stay away but believe me I hope someone will (and I am positive they will) put the photos of the reunion on the internet for everyone to see. Does that make it that I want the easy way out by not going but to see how everyone has changed over the years lol

I have never really been interested in a school reunion. I have missed my tenth, and now my 20th year school reunion. Maybe that is because I am still friendly with most of the people I was friendly with in high school.

The answer is sure. I just had this high school reunion about few months ago ( I left high school 14 years ago). It was very fun, since the reunion gathered all graduates for 50 years. The only disappointing thing was that there were only few friends of my graduation year attended this reunion. It seems that the older generations which were much more older than mine were keener to to attend the reunion. I don't know, maybe for my other friends, 14 years was not long enough for a reunion :) It turned out that I took pictures of things happen in that reunion, also pictures of old school memories and share them in facebook. Then lots of my friends tagged themselves in those pictures and they felt sorry that they did not attend it. Anyway, I don't see attending a school reunion is to see how everyone has changed or how they are doing right now, but it is more like bring back old memories which make me grateful for once having this 'teenager' experience and spirit, lol..

my answer is no. though im close with some of my classmates before but i'm not the type. i mean, knowing what's up with their lives now is not my kind of thing. it's good to see them once in a while but i guess, people i used to be with is now working outside the country. in college, maybe [just maybe] i'll go but it depends with my schedule. i'm working out of town so it's not that easy to just go. and besides, we chat sometimes.. so we kind update ourselves from time to time.

If I were you, of course I will go. To see those colleagues during younger and school days would be so exciting. For sure everyone has lots of things to share, and to see them personally, and a lot more would really be fun. To get an update and renew the friendship will surely another stage of fun. If you just see those pictures of how it has been, you might regret it. So better to feel the joy personally.

I would go to a school reunion because I'd love to meet the people I used to play with, share homeworks with and spend half of my time with. Another reason is I want to recognize their faces, since some of us have already changed a great deal and I would just love to recall who that person is smiling at me across the table! LOl!

I don't think if i got invited to a school reunion i would go because most of the people i want to keep in touch with i still am. A few others i see when i pick up my son from school sometimes even if i don't want to see them again if possible. I am kind of a keep myself to myself person so meeting up with everyone from school to pass on news and stories doesn't really interest me.

Its been 36 years for me since I graduated from High School. They have had many reunions starting at the 10 reunion. I have never attended one of them. I find it would be strange and weird especially because people who run these things usually are the people who were stuck up in school. None were my friends and the people who were my friends would not attend either for the same reason. So no I would not go. I would like you only wish to see the pictures so I can see how some people have changed or not.

surely, i would go. Because i love my alma mater, it's always nice to attend reunion they conduct. It's also a sign you resoect your school, and you'd always be inbterested on what's its progression or improvements from the time you left or graduated. If you had beautiful memories, too, attending reunions is the best time to remisce those bittersweet memories and feel like you're young again.

i would love to go to school reunion if it is ever organized by my school or my classmates. But I don't think It happens. I left my school somewhere around 1989 almost 20 years passed away. But I have attended my college reunion and it was a big disappointment. We had very few classmates attended the reunion. I guess school reunion would be much more fun compared to college and university.
Hoping for it or I think I should take initiation for it.
