do you believe that we really have our own free will?

Welcome to mylot uniteamm. I certainly believe that we are born with free will. Even if we do have free will, we do not control what lies ahead in the future as anything can happen.. You may want to be consistent with your own goals or needs but this can still be affected by the things around you. Free will applies to your choice to do either boon or bane, or right or wrong. You may choose to be a child of God but since you are human, along comes with it your capability to hurt someone for your selfish interests.

I think that having free will means you choose how you're going to act, or present yourself, along with choices of what kind of life you make for yourself. Like clothing , music, food, friends, religion, job; these are all choices of free will. Destiny is something pre-determined that will happen anyway.
