xiaoanorincess,
I believe you need to know that any tour to your country will have to commence from Guangzhou, Shanghai or Beijing before coming to Xian, the province that is renowned for the discovered Terra-Cotta Warriors and the Emperors' tombs.
Having been to your country on several occasions for both work and leisure, I must say that your country has really progressed so much since my first visit 6 years ago. If I may add, she is still changing with progress in every major economic and political scenes.
Some economists even tipped your country to overtake USA in the next decade. So, I must admit that this is probably why my interest in your country is just undying here.

yeah, the turn of the century has witnessend the great change of China,I know that Guangzhou or Shanghai always be the first stop for many foreigners coming to China, but they just represent the mordern culture of China, and Beijing represent the recent century culture of Chian. If you would like to approach the ancient culture of China ,Xi'an ,Nanjing or some place else are your good choice!

I have been to Hong Kong ten years ago and I really enjoyed it there. I haven't been to China but I would very much like to do so. I have heard about the terracotta warrior and think that it would be very interesting to see. I think that a lovely way to visit China would be arriving all the way from Moscow to Beijing by train. It would go via Mongolia. I would have to get visas for all three countries so it would be an expensive trip. One day I hope I will be able to go to lovely China.

That's very interesting , i wish i have the time to visit that place,i'm really very fascinated by the Terra-cotta warriors when i saw it on National Geographic. I personally have a small collection of Chinese pottery ( glazed, unglazed, blue and white etc...) that dates back to the Sung ,Ming and Ching dynasty which i am very proud of.
