I seldom mylotting nowadays since I'm occupied with many business. Than today I opened it again and saw the number of mylotters. It's not too different from the first time I'm here.
If I'm not mistaken, mylot has established for five years, and ptc-investigation states that mylot is ELITE. So why can't we reach more memebers? Mylot deserves to have 1,000,000,000 active members I guess! Look Facebook, nobody pays you to update your status, or twitter, you will get no cent to twit -unless you have a business or trick there, that's fine-, but the two sites have total millions members.
I see that, people new here only come to make their first post "HOW MUCH money can I get from here?" After no more than 10 postings they leave. Come on, mylot is not moneymaking site, mylot is all about SHARING! Money here is only bonus for you, babe!

yeah mylot is a very good site i think it is much better than facebook and twitter but people like to do it because ther are so much members on twitter and facebook. I think if mylot makes reclame on television for this site ther really will become a very good site with much members!
And a tip for you is make referalls than you make the mylot population more and more!

I have refer my friends to have fun here, but they see mylot earnings walk like a snail. Then I tell them: Everyday you make hundreds tweet and thousands updated status. The question is: Who pays you? No one. I firstly use 'money reason' to interest them. After they're OK, they join here. Then they come back to me tell: Mylot is confusing, I even don't know what to post there! OMG. You don't need to post anything here, just take out what's on your mind here to all mylotters! People here are nice, they'll help you for anything you need. But they still not OK with mylot. Simply, I don't waste my time talking with them...

I am from China. I studied English from the junior middle school to the university. But i never use it besides for examination. I can't make much of the discussion Entirely in English. I just glance over the homepages. This is my first time to join in a English website. Though i can hardly read-write and speak by my poor english.I'll insist on to come here everyday.

I totally agree with you...dmittedly, I tend not to do too much online unless it pays me but I would be here on mylot even if I never earned a cent...this is a great community where we can make friends & maybe even learn a thing or 2 & like you said, the earning here is just a bonus.

It's better this way to have less members who are sensible and are active than to have lots but you don't see them posting or they are posting one-liners. Actually, I noticed that a lot of the same people are responding to the same discussions I participate in, giving the impression that only a few are really active.

i totally agree with you ivanmarginal, but i think most of them are too occupied with being updated with their lost friends, playing games, and chatting. I dont think they ever want to earn money online. I am a big fan of facebook too, but i see to it that i am giving time for mylot as well. earning while giving your insight? thats just so fulfilling right??? Thanks and happy mylotting!

Mylot, like many sites goes through growth spurts. It does tend to slow down every now and again. But after many years, it is still here. That is the important thing!

I also think that people aren't willing to put in the effort to make quality discussions and comments, and that their too focused on the money.

Firstly I agree that myLot is a really great site. I have well over 350+ friends on facebook of which I know directly. None of them would ever sign up here and I kinda understand why. See myLot does not run on specific real time like facebook does.
The initial sign up page is quite boring. Although we know the secrets of this wonderful site, it did however take a bit of persistence on how end to get where we are. New comers that are specifically told that they can make money get quickly disappointed as truly if they are after the money then they are not going to make much and well let's just say they up root and leave.
Also on face book there are a great many other things that members do to entertain their time of which myLot does not have. So unless a member like you and I and all long time members dive in and persist, it is just not going to happen with too many new comers.

Well my friend i think the same as you do. Mylot is really a great site and it deserves 100 times more members what it has right now. I thin the reason of mylot having this less number of members is that no one is promoting this sites so thats why not a lot of people know about this site and a result of this it has less number of members.
