If you have some $$$ to Spend to buy a professional camera Phone, Which one you would opt for- A Nokia N8 with 12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, Xenon flash, Wifi, 16 GB storage, geo-tagging and face detection OR A Samsung M8920 (AKA SCH W880 Amoled) with 12 MP, 4000 x 3000 pixels, 3x optical zoom, autofocus, xenon flash, LED flash, WIFI with DLNA, 8 gb Int Storage with 32gb Card Storage, Mode dial, variable aperture, tracking touch auto focus, face, smile and blink detection, Smart Auto mode, image stabilization and Beauty Shot ? N8 Cost around $500 (Rs24000) and M8920 is not released yet and is to cost around $400 (W880 is released only in South Korea with cost around $333).

Well, in terms of Mobile phone digital cameras, i will go with Nokia N8 only because of Carl-Zeiss Optics.
I'm currently using a Nokia N73 with 3.2MP Carl-Zeiss lens. The picture quality is just superb and no other 3.2MP camera phone can beats this.
My Dad owns a Samsung Star 3G (this one comes with 3.2MP camera too). Its got all the features which Nokia N73 has but it miss only 1 thing, and that is Carl-Zeiss optics.
Due to this, the picture quality is of poor quality as compared to my N73.
Also, Samsung used to make horrible camera phones. So, i would avoid any Samsung camera phone.
The image quality also depends on the image processor chip embedded on the phone circuit. In this case too, Samsung looses the battle to Nokia.
