I have many, many symbol crochet pattern magazines. But I am looking online for new patterns that use the symbols instead of the written patterns. I like to crochet doilies, tablecloths and those types of things. Does anyone out there know of any sites???

I'm not sure at all of places that would offer symbol patterns for crocheting online. The best guess that I could come up with would be to check and see if there are websites for the magazines that you know of. I am only very rudimentary in my abilities as far as crocheting goes so I wouldn't even begin to know how to follow a pattern when it came to crocheting. I hope that you have luck in your search for some new patterns to try out.

I don't know any symbol crochet pattern websites or magazines but I use freepatterns.com and I am subscribed to talking crochet. They give me great patterns that I can use and most of the time I combine two patterns to make my own. My problem is that I mostly do not finish their pattern because there comes to my mind to change some parts, combine it to another, add a few more layers. Great sites to tickle your mind.

I don't know for sure if they have symbol patterns, but 1-2-3 Stitch has several DVD collections showing step by step instructions.
My grandmother used to use crossword puzzle grids as patterns.
