it was again awesome to watch lionel messi scoring, a thrashing hatrick against almeria
and it was his 100th goal in ligabbva ,and he is just 2 goals behind ronaldo by 15-13 .i hope he'll take the lead...

Messi is a phenomenon, a great player, although he has no football player looks. He scores many goals, and he is a team player also. We should be glad that we watch him playing, and he is not a player like so many other great players which we have only heard about and haven't got the luck to see them, because they played long before we was born. I am talking from my point of view, of course.

You are definitely right, danesz. When somebody plays as good as Messi, he can look like hell, who cares?

He is very good at club level. But, he cannot bring Argentina to the highest level (world champion). Maybe it is because the system used by Argentina coach (Maradona). He cannot utilize Messi in the system.
Or, maybe because he is supported by excellent players such as Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta. Xavi Hernandez is one of the greates passers in the world of football these days.

8-0 is definitely a brilliant result and Messi grabbing a hat-trick at that. It is now a straight fight between the Argentine and Ronaldo in the top scorer chart. Just as well, this will set the El Classico up perfectly. This will be an interesting match up.
