Well, I want to ask you guys. Am I the only one finding the new episodes from Spongebob Squarepants more disturbing than the last. It's like Nickelodeon tries to test out how far they can get with every new episode.
I mean like for example the episode "Gary's new friend". Spongebob buys Gary a new pet called "Puffy Fluffy". It looks cute, but everytime Spongebob doesn't look, he suddendly wants to kill Gary with sharp pointy teeths. Also later he transforms into an gigantic eel and tries to EAT Gary and Spongebob.
Or how about Plankton's fear of whales? I mean, Krabs scares him so much, he wants to kill himself after 2 weeks of paranoia.
Those are only two examples of a big list of disturbing places of Spongebob. What do you guys think?

I have not seen sponge bob in a while but do find that a great many children shows are getting to be a bit much. For some odd reason the networks, and directors feel that spicing things up will draw more attention.
Too sad, just wondering if any of them have children and how they feel if their kids see their own shows. Pretty bizarre.

I know a friend of my mother was visiting us with her 4 year old kid. She told us how his son was watching Spongebob and got scared when he was seeing the episode "The Splitter". Because the thing is, Patrick is putting the splitter deeper into Spongebob's finger and the finger gets a really gigantic atter which also some sort of liquid runs through.
