To know you is to Love you..

Hi everybody.. How do you show someone that you love them? Do you buy them expensive gifts? Spend quality time together? Make personal sacrifices just to see them smile? Dedicate them a romantic love song? write them a love letter or some encouragement notes? become their cheerleader? Well, those are such a wonderful things to do, but my question goes deeper than those activities. Think about our parents, our best friends , sisters or brothers.. anyone you love.. how do you really show them for how much you love them? and maybe you can reverse the question if u like.. how do You really KNOW if someone loves you..? I think there is not enough to just tell someone, that you love them on a regular basis is there's no passion and fire behind the statement. ^^ feel free to share your thoughts here ;)

One of the best thing you could give to your love one is a listening ear. Not all are a good listener, sometimes I just give my mom an ear to listen. Almost every weekend I would call my mom, and I would let her pour down whatever she has in her mind, about her plans, her expectations, her problems, etc. And it somehow give her joy to have someone to talk to since my dad had already passed away when I was just 16. It's one way I show my love to my mom. About what you said, "to know you, is to love you" I could not help but agree with the idea, because really, when you love someone you have to know him/her. God love us first, because He already know us from the start, even before we are conceived. So, it's so true and biblical, that "to know you, is to love you." understand the other person listen to him/her all the time help him when he/she is in need stuff like that :)

I think I will know they love me if they will stick with me even when I am at my worst. In the worst moments of life, if someone is there for me, they don't even have to say anything but is just there standing with me, then I think I will know they might love me, but it's hard to tell. I think I would do that much for someone who I love too.
