Oh my goodness me my son's gym coach is so gorgeous I have to admit I have a crush on him. I have to say crush because although I am single I am fully aware that there would be no chance of us ever having a relationship as he is is totally out of my league and also being at least 15 years my junior!! I think the last time I would admit to having a crush would have been when I was about 10 years old and he was about 8 years older than me, I was in the choir of a play and he was the leading man!!
When was the last time you had a crush on someone? Who was it? Have you ever acted on a crush?

hi humbug 25 oh my let me think I was sixteen and the algebra teacher was probably thirty and he was really handsome. I had a hard time as I knew he was engaged to the gym teacher and so help me I w as such a dunce in algebra and the poor man was trying to coach me and I would get all red. flustered and of course he might have known I had a crush on him too. all I can say is I almost flunked that class as I could not even talk to the man. poor teens with all the hormones and angst then to have a crush on a man fifteen to twenty years older. wow. but I did live through it .

Hi ya Hatley
I too remember having crushes on my teachers when at school. One of them I think I gave a bit of a hard time to just so that he would notice me and he did but it was all negative attention from him telling me off. I think I soon got bored when I started to notice boys my own age haha
Thanks for your response

Wow I seriously can't remember when was the last time, as I am so in love with my boyfriend now for 5 1/2 years. I find some men to be attractive but do not see them that way.
I think it is normal for you to have a crush as you are not involved with anyone, but a word of caution: cougar... LOL.. kidding but I think this is what they call it when the woman is older, but hey who should judge.
You never know if he is interested in experience hot chicks.

The last time I had a crush, was probably when I opened a tin of pineapple! Sure I have crushes on filmstars, does that count? As for normal people, no can't say I've had a crush for eons my dear friend. Hey you never know the gym coach may have a thing for mature ladies and hey you're the same age as me, so you're still young girl ;0) My longest relationship my partner was nearly 17 years OLDER than me. I think having a crush is the same as lust, I always compare a crush with a beautifully decorated present with ribbons and bows, it looks lovely on the outside, but when you unwrap it, boy the disappointment! He could even bat for the other side PMSL. What do they say about men, either married or g-a-y!

Hi ya wolfie34
Yes you sure can count your filmstars, why not. I used to have a bad crush on Keanu Reeves for years. The thought did cross my mind that he might like guys instead but would rather keep the fantasy going haha. I just feel a bit silly about it to be honest. My friend keeps telling me I should ask him out!! One thing is that I would never actually ask a guy out, I am old fashioned that way and also I am not in the habit of making a complete fool of myself haha. He might even have a gf/bf already and then how stupid would I feel? I think you might be right about the lust thing, well I havent actually been in a relationship for nearly 3 years now so that might explain things hahahahaha
Thanks hun

I don't want to sound too cliche'. But I really have had a crush on my hubby. And since I married him, I guess that worked out well. The only other crush I have had in recent memory was to an actor. I really like British actor David Tenant. He is my favorite Doctor Who!

the last time i had a crush was in college.she was one of my close friends.she knew that i was attracted to her and we came so close to dating each other, but it didn't materialize because we later found out that our personalities didn't match.but we remained good friends until we finished college and went our separate ways.
what's more interesting is when reading your post about when you were 10 years old,it reminded me of a crush i had when i was about that age and it was on...my older cousin! she's 3 years older and we played with each other a lot as a kid.she was pretty and i always enjoyed being with her although we would also fight on occasion.she became even prettier as a teenager, and i often resented the fact that we were cousins, lol. no,i didn't act on that crush for obvious reasons

Thats very good that you've had such experiences, as it means you are still young at heart and mind. I've only had a crush once in my life, when I was in high school and met a girl 5 years younger. There were times I got really surprised of her looks and didn't know what to say, but in the end we formed a good friendship. Afterwards in college, I met someone twice as good looking, and eventually married her. Till this day, I believe crushes have had a real positive influence on my life.
